Getting started
Head to Dubai Mall's ground floor, between the Waterfall Atrium and The Souk, directly under the cinema. If arriving by car, follow signs to Cinema Parking (Level P3). Collect your skates and socks from the rental counter. Ice marshals help fit skates correctly if you're unsure. Store personal items in lockers provided, as bags are not allowed on the ice.
What to expect
Dubai Ice Rink is an Olympic-sized rink featuring real ice maintained at -5°C and resurfaced by Zamboni machines throughout the day.

Your 90-minute session gives you full access to the rink, with over 2,000 pairs of Italian-made skates available in sizes EU25 to EU52.

Children 100cm and above can skate. Those between 100cm and 120cm must skate with an adult; children 120cm and above can skate alone.

The rink averages -5°C, so dress warmly with covered arms and legs. Gloves are available for purchase on-site.

What to bring

Warm clothing: The temperature at the rink averages around -5 degrees Celsius. It is highly recommended to wear long trousers, sweaters, or jackets.

Socks: Thick socks are essential for comfort and to prevent blisters inside the skates. While socks are often provided with your ticket, bringing your own pair of warm, thick socks is a good idea.

Gloves: To protect your hands from the cold and potential falls, bring a pair of cozy gloves. If you forget them, they are usually available for purchase at the venue.

Valid ID: Keep a physical or digital copy of a valid photo ID (Emirates ID or Passport) handy for age and identity verification if required.

Trailing clothing: For safety reasons, long dresses, skirts, national dress (Abayas/Kanduras), or any loose, trailing clothing that could get caught or cause a trip are strictly prohibited on the ice.

Electronics on ice: Mobile phones, personal stereos, and cameras (including selfie sticks) are not allowed while skating to prevent distractions and accidents.

Food and beverages: Consumption of food, drinks, or chewing gum is strictly prohibited on the ice.

Large bags: Carrying backpacks or large handbags on the ice is not permitted as they can affect your balance. Lockers are available for rent to store these items.

Intoxication: Guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be denied entry for safety reasons.
