A day of historical marvel
Strap on your seatbelts because we are traveling back in time to medieval Japan! Embark on this one-day bus tour to Kyoto and visit ancient architectural marvels that have stood the test of time. Your first stop is at the Shinto shrine Fushimi Inari Taisha, built in 794 and famed for its 1000 bright red torii gates. You can walk under the gates, explore the scenic hiking trails nearby, or pay your respects to Inari, the Shinto god of rice.
Head out to Kiyomizu-dera Temple next, a Buddhist temple established in 780 and well-known for its 'hanging' wooden hall, jutting out from the temple. Take in the marvelous views of Kyoto and the multitude of cherry blossoms and maple trees from the temple. Visit the Kinkakuji Temple, a Zen temple, where the first two floors are plated with gold leaf.
