Exploring made easier with public transport
This card also grants you unfettered access to the city’s public transport system including the metro, STCP’s network buses (all lines, all the way) and CP Porto Comboios de Portugal’s urban trains, from Lousado, Paredes, Vila das Aves to Paramos. Also includes private transport operators: bus lines (Valpi, Espírito Santo, Gondomarense, Maia Transportes, Maré, MGC, A. Nogueira da Costa, Auto Viação Pacense and Auto Viação Landim).
Seamless activation
After exchanging your digital voucher for the Porto.CARD will be activated after the date and time written on the card indicating that you want to start using the card. For public transport, the transport ticket Andante Tour is activated the first time you validate it at one of the card validation machines, at stations or in the transport itself. Note that you need to validate the travel card at the start of each journey, and when you change lines or modes of transport.
If you've opted for the 2-day card, keep the 2 cards separately, or write on them in pen (day 1 and day 2) so you know which card has been validated.
What's not allowed

Cards are personal and non-transferable.

If the card gets stolen or lost, you cannot avail of any refund or replacement.

Trams or the funicular are not included in free public transport. You can get a 25% discount on the funicular, on just one trip.

Your card can only be used once for each discount opportunity.

The card is valid for 1 day (24 hours), counting from the date and time to be written on the card, valid for 2 days (48 hours) and so on.
