I brought my family to my two favorite chateaux in France from when I went there as a college student. They didn't disappoint. Each was unique and formidable in their own way. The tickets were easy to book and flexible - not committing us to a time to enter either chateau. The places to eat, especially on Chambord grounds, were perfect. Hope to visit again!!

Beautiful setting with the forest, the autumnal trees and the gardens. It is even a lovely, and close, walk from the railway. I loved the fact that so much, if not all, of the contents of the chateau are original 16th, 17th century pieces, including the floors and ceilings. I loved learning about the history behind Chenonceau, including the information about the Resistance's role during WWII. I also loved that no photos could be taken inside, so no people continually taking selfies! A very relaxing and informative experience. Thank you.

Visited Chenonceau and Chambord in late November. No crowds and both being beautifully decorated for Christmas. Appreciated being able to tour at own pace and not having to follow a prescribed path.

Chambord Castle

Please note that only the ground floor of Chambord is accessible to wheelchair users, who enjoy free admission.

Since this is a historic site, certain regions may be closed for access due to maintenance or renovation.

It is allowed to bring dogs on a leash in the park, but not in the castle enclosure, the French gardens, and the Stables.

Guide dogs may access the entire premises.

Royal Blois Castle

Due to capacity management, you must reserve a timeslot on the official website after your reservation. The link to make this reservation will be shared with you on the voucher you'll receive after booking.

After the booking process, please go to the official website of the venue and generate a second free ticket with the barcode we provide you.

On the day of your visit, please show both your smartphone tickets at the entrance (the ticket from Headout, and the invitation from Chenonceau).

Chambord Castle

As there is low internet connectivity inside the venue, please download your tickets before your visit.

Royal Blois Castle
