This place is as billed. special. The entry was easy. The parking free. The building and grounds well maintained. For flower lovers , the outside gardens were lovely but the flowers highlight were the original , highly artistic ,fresh arrangements , that dressed every room. They themselves were spectacular . The history of the chateau was also well laid out . Would highly recommend .

Un château qui traverse le Cher d'un rive à l'autre... C'est la principale particularité de ce château. Entouré par des jardins très fleuris, on a toujours envie d'appuyer sur le déclencheur pour faire une photo de plus... Le ciel était bleu parsemé de petits nuages blancs qui faisaient ressortir le château encore plus...

There was no line at our arrival time. We purchased tickets easily online on the day of our visit. The gardens were lovely. Beautiful flowers inside and out. Appreciated English version of information. The booklet explaining each room was very informative.

bonjour, nous avons passé un très beau moment dans ce château avec des jardins splendides et tout ça avant de rentrer dans le château qui livre ses pièces bien meublées. nous y sommes restés plus de trois heures en comptant la pause déjeuner.

Interface simple d’utilisation, offre de billet conforme au prix public, validité des billets jusqu’en 2018 (incroyable!). Aucune contrainte horaire de visite contrairement à ce que propose le site officiel du chateau de Chambord.

Château magnifique, une expérience unique. Nous restons ébahis par tant de beauté. Décidément François 1er nous a rapporté d'Italie ce qui s'appelle le style renaissance et ses talents d'architecte ont fait le reste !

Nous sommes aller découvrir le château de Chambord avec ma petite amie et nous avons tout simplement adoré, l'extérieur du château, ces jardins et ensuite l'intérieur qui est lui aussi somptueux.

Los dos castillos visitados fueron espectaculares cada uno con sus particularidades El de Chambord . Su interior destacar el vídeo presentación en francés però totalmente entendible. El jardín debido a la calor no lucía como se esperaba pero lo compensa con creces el castillo. El parking vale 8 euros Se puede visitar 3-4 horas El de chenonceaux . Sus jardines superan con creces al castillo Solo por verlos vale la pena acceder. El parking es gratuito El castillo reúne su encanto por supuesto y se distribuye a parte del complejo central en pabellones el de la ciencia o la farmacia. A parte jardines de plantas medicinales y huerto muy bien cuidado con difusores de agua tanto para el jardín como para los visitantes. Muy recomendables ambos Y con la entrada en el móvil es muy fácil acceder sin colas en taquilla Eso sí si quieres autoguia si debes comprar en la taquilla antes de acceder al recinto

Der Besuch im Schloss Chenonceau war einfach wunderschön! Das Schloss ist beeindruckend und besonders die Lage über dem Wasser macht es einzigartig. Auch die liebevoll gepflegten Gärten sind sehr sehenswert und laden zum entspannten Spaziergang ein. Die Tickets haben problemlos funktioniert und der gesamte Besuch war gut organisiert. Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis und absolut empfehlenswert!

El castillo es impresionante se puede visitar en 3 -4 horas destacar el vídeo introductorio donde se explica la historia del castillo bajo el mecenazgo del Rey Francisco I gran cazador y interesado en la arquitectura.destacar la colección de botones específicos sobre animales ya que el rei era un apasionado de la caza. Impresionante la escalera diseñada por Leonardo da vinci

Chenonceau Castle

Visit Château Chenonceau, an elegant white castle built on the piers of an old mill in the famous Loire Valley region. Chenonceau is a stunning representation of late Gothic and early Renaissance architecture, featuring a long gallery bridge that spans over the Cher river.

Chambord Castle

Explore the Chambord Castle and get a glimpse into the French royal life of the past. A major highlight of your visit here would be the famous double helix staircase. Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, the open staircase is designed in a way that you can go up one side without meeting or making eye contact with someone who is descending on the other side! Your ticket also gives you access to more than 60 rooms open to the public and to temporary exhibitions (according to the cultural program of the time). Moreover, you can explore the castle's grand gardens, home to a vivid range of flora and fauna, at your own pace.

Important Information

Chenonceau Castle

The Chenonceau Castle is wheelchair accessible. People with reduced mobility can book a wheelchair free of charge (when doing so, they will be asked to leave an ID as a deposit).

Chambord Castle

There are free lockers available at the château entrance (except in case of contrary governmental provisions) for safekeeping of your metallic baby carriers, backpacks, helmets and other articles

Certain objects, like hiking poles and sharp objects, are not admitted in the château and must be placed in the lockers in accordance with visit regulations

Under France’s Vigipirate Plan, objects with dimensions superior to 55cm x 35cm x 20cm must also be deposited in the lockers after having been inspected

Baby carriers with metal frames are not authorized in the rooms and have to be left in storage. - Strollers can be borrowed at the entrance (depending on availability)

Toilets with changing tables and bottle warmers are accessible near the reception area close to the parking lots as well as inside the château

You will have access to free WiFi within the premises

In the autumn and winter, it is strongly recommended that you wear warm clothes
