Join this full-day boat tour of the western side of Fraser Island, where you'll cruise, snorkel, and kayak through pristine beaches and the untouched waters of the island.
Getting started
Start at Hervey Bay marina with a safety briefing before boarding a custom-designed vessel. Relax on deck as you cruise across the Great Sandy Strait to K'gari’s remote western coast.
What to expect

Wathumba Creek: Swim or snorkel in crystal-clear waters, spot turtles, and take a guided kayak tour through this tidal creek surrounded by bright white sands.

Awinya Creek: Glide through freshwater streams shaded by lush mangroves or enjoy a tubing ride while spotting birds like the Eastern Curlew and Whimbrel.

Bowarrady Creek: Take a short hike over shifting sand dunes to lookout points, then cool off with a refreshing dip in the freshwater creek below.

Seasonal whale watching (July–October): Watch humpback whales play with their little ones just off the island’s coast.
