Our excursion was an excellent experience, from the nice welcome aboard to the end. The boat ride was great and the commentary was interesting for us. There is food and beverage for sale on board which is nice for the ride and the prices are fair. The park is a lovely place to see local animals. The staff within the park were engaging and informative also. This is a very nice way to spend a day in Brisbane so book this right now!

Adam is an absolute legend, very knowledgeable and great person to have as a tour guide. Recommend doing this tour as the sun is setting, as the light looks amazing over the city.

The animals appeared to be comfortable in their surroundings. The staff, even while working were happy to answer questions. The kolas were 'cute' even the adults. Loved watching the lizards walk around free, happy to have their photos taken. Lucy did a wonderful job showing how she can round up sheep, it was great to see her in action. There was so much to see and enjoy. Thank you

Getting started

Board your Brisbane River cruise at the Cultural Centre Pontoon between 8:30am and 9am. The boat departs at 9am and takes around 70 minutes to reach Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Enjoy live commentary from the captain as you cruise past modern waterfront mansions and classic Queenslander homes.

Cruise along the Brisbane River: Sit back and enjoy a scenic journey to Lone Pine with live commentary from your captain.

Get up close to Australian wildlife: Spend around 3 hours and 15 minutes exploring the sanctuary, with opportunities to hand-feed kangaroos and emus, spot platypuses, and see birds of prey.

Explore at your own pace: Wander through the sanctuary's habitats and discover Australia's diverse native wildlife before returning to the city by boat.

Follow a scenic itinerary: Arrive at Lone Pine at around 10:15am and depart at 1:30pm, returning to the Cultural Centre Pontoon at approximately 2:45pm.

Board at the Cultural Centre Pontoon between 8:30am and 9am.

The cruise departs at 9am and arrives at Lone Pine at approximately 10:15am.

Return departure from Lone Pine is at 1:30pm, with arrival at the Cultural Centre Pontoon at approximately 2:45pm.

The Brisbane River cruise takes approximately 70 minutes each way.

Story Bridge Adventure Climb

Participants must be at least 6 years old, 110cm tall, and weigh no more than 130kg.

Child tickets are applicable for guests aged 6–16 years.

The climb experience lasts approximately 2 hours, including preparation and climbing time.

Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

A maximum of 3 minors per adult is permitted.

All climbers will be breathalyzed and must register below 0.05 BAC before participating.

One complimentary group photograph is included with the experience.
