Qasr Al Watan is a breathtaking place, with all of its exceptional architecture and luxurious gardens. I went there after finishing an educational program in Abu Dhabi, and it easily became one of the best parts of my 2-week trip. I went there alone, but I definitely imagine the experience will be much more amazing than it already is with a group of friends. I got to see the international gifts exhibition and have a look at halls that have reached the top level of building beauty and skill, and the space is so spacious that you don't get affected by the number of visitors. The ticket booking experience through Headout was very smooth and I got my ticket immediately. No bugs, no delays, no weird errors; just a simple booking and great destination.

It was a great experience booking tickets through Headout for my parents’ visit to Qasr Al Watan. The entire booking process was very smooth, quick, and extremely convenient, which made planning their trip stress-free for me. I was able to book everything easily in advance without any confusion. One of the best parts was that I also received a good discount, which made the experience even better and more value for money. Gestern besuchten wir den Präsidenten Palast in Abu Dhabi. Die Tickets habe ich sehr bequem noch im Auto online gebucht und wir sind ohne Probleme durch den Einlass gekommen. Der Palast ist einfach überwältigend! Etwas gefehlt haben uns Informationen zur Entstehung. Die Schönheit der Architektur, der Handwerkskunst und des Parks ist unglaublich toll!!! Es war ein ganz besonderes unvergessliches Erlebnis.

A truly splendid palace where one can not only appreciate the architecture and decoration but also learn about hitory and culture. The ticket also includes the light show Palace Motion which starts after sunset. It was magical !

Stunning building and exhibits, beautiful gardens too. Particularly like the great hall. The public toilets are clean and not too busy. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and all spoke good English.

Die Besichtigung des Präsidentenpalasts in Abu Dhabi war besonders beeindruckend, weil sie weit über eine klassische Sehenswürdigkeit hinausging. Schon beim Betreten fällt die enorme Größe und architektonische Präzision auf: alles wirkt bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht, symmetrisch und von außergewöhnlicher Eleganz. Der Einsatz von Marmor, Goldakzenten und kunstvollen Mustern vermittelt ein starkes Gefühl von Reichtum, ohne dabei überladen zu wirken. Besonders war auch die Atmosphäre im Inneren. Trotz der monumentalen Dimensionen strahlt der Palast Ruhe und Würde aus. Die großen Hallen und Kuppeln vermitteln eindrucksvoll, welche Bedeutung Tradition, Gastfreundschaft und Staatsführung in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten haben. Die Ausstellungen und Informationen gaben zudem spannende Einblicke in Geschichte, Politik und kulturelle Werte des Landes, was den Besuch nicht nur visuell, sondern auch inhaltlich bereichernd machte. Insgesamt war die Besichtigung ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, weil sie Architektur, Kultur und politische Symbolik miteinander verbindet. An architectural marvel

Nestled in Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan is a presidential palace that was recently opened to the public. One of the finest examples of Arabic architecture and craftsmanship, the palace's design signifies its heritage and its future vision. The palace has its own library with books on a wide range of subjects including archaeology, history, heritage, memoirs, biographies, human and social sciences, statistics, administration, culture, literature, arts, etc. It also has its own gift shops; one at the Visitors Center and the other at the palace building. One of the major attractions of the palace is its light and sound show, which depicts the history and growth of the UAE as a nation. This show has been divided into three acts: past, present, and future. Also get a chance to hold a falcon, take some pictures with them, and learn more about their nature and behavior at a falcon experience in front of the palace's main door.

What to bring

It's recommended to wear respectful clothing when in the palace. Knees and shoulders should be covered.

What's not allowed

Consumption of food and drink is not permitted in the great hall or exhibition rooms.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Prohibited items include penknives or knives of any kind, scissors, long umbrellas, paints/aerosols, bicycles, folding bikes, roller-skates or skateboards, large bags that can’t fit through airport-style security scanners, and CS gas (tear gas) or any weapon.

Re-entry is not permitted.

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Wheelchairs are available for rent free of charge and strollers can be rented for AED 20.

The Palace in Motion show starts at 7:45pm, with the last entry at 7:15pm.

The falcon experience will be held in front of the palace's main gate from 22 Jan to Mar 1, 2025.

Please note that the falcon experience will be held on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 10am, 11:15am, 2pm, 3:15pm, and 4:30pm. However, during the first week, sessions will take place only on Wednesday and Friday before transitioning to the regular schedule.
