What a fantastic experience at Anfield. From the moment you arrive, you realise this is much more than just a stadium tour, you’re walking through the history and heritage of one of football’s most iconic clubs. The tour takes you behind the scenes into the dressing room, press room and manager’s dugout, before walking beneath the famous “This Is Anfield” sign and down the players’ tunnel towards the pitch. The views inside the stadium are incredible, but what really makes the experience is the history, stories and atmosphere surrounding Anfield. Finishing with the LFC Museum and seeing the club’s major trophies, including the six European Cups, really brings that history to life. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the club. Whether you’re a lifelong Liverpool supporter or simply love football, I’d highly recommend it. You’ll Never Walk Alone. 🔴⚽

We loved everything about the tour. It was well organized and we were explained all sections of stadium. The best parts were 2 fold 1) the countdown to number 1 player was amazing and full of memories 2) the moment you step into the section and see the view of the green grass to the stadium! Feel so proud to have witnessed where history has been written and re-written.

Great tour worth while for any Liverpool F.C supporters. Staff at the museum were friendly and informative. They couldn't do enough for you. Quick and easy access and great communication from Headout. Would thoroughly recommend them.

We went to Liverpool specifically to take our football mad granddaughter on the anfield tour. What an amazing ground, we both loved it. I like that it is a self guided tour that you can do at your own pace. The staff dotted around were friendly and helpful without rushing you. The look on my granddaughters face when she walked down the tunnel was priceless. We have done many things together but she said this tour was the best thing ever.

We did our tour on a Monday afternoon. Huge surprise of free parking ( not on a match day) right outside the ground in Stanley park. Easy to get to made it stress free. Tour is everything you imagined, really friendly staff. You get to see everything and don't need to purchase extra's like other tours we have been on. Really good tour not hurried did it at our pace. Definite recommend it.

It was OK. Be sure to check whether it is a guided tour with real guides or a "self guided" tour with headsets. Ours was unfortunately the latter. It was hard to sync up the devices to the location and was missing some of the human stories that guides are so good at conveying. With out a guide the whole thing feels quite empty.

You can begin at either attraction, depending on what fits your plan. Just show your mobile ticket at the entrance, collect any audio guides where needed, and start exploring. Both experiences are self paced once you’re inside.

What to expect

Liverpool FC Stadium

This part feels structured and guided, with someone leading you through spaces you usually only see on matchdays or broadcasts.

Features:

Behind the scenes access: Walk through key areas inside Anfield Stadium, including dressing rooms, the players’ tunnel, and pitchside, giving you a closer look at how everything comes together on matchdays.

Expert led tour: A guide shares stories, moments, and small details about the club that you might otherwise miss, making each stop feel more connected to Liverpool FC’s history.

LFC Museum and trophies: Spend time in the museum where shirts, photographs, and displays lead you through the club’s journey, ending with a full view of major trophies displayed together.

Multilingual audio guide: Use the audio guide to follow along at your own pace, especially helpful if you want more context while moving between different parts of the stadium.

The Beatles Story Museum

This part is quieter and more self paced, where you move through spaces that gradually piece together how The Beatles became what they are known for today.

Features:

Recreated iconic locations: Walk through detailed sets of The Cavern Club, Hamburg clubs, and Abbey Road Studios, with lighting and sound that make each space feel grounded.

Original memorabilia: You’ll come across real items like John Lennon’s piano and George Harrison’s first guitar, displayed in a way that lets you stop and take them in properly.

Audio guide storytelling: The audio guide fills in the background as you move, explaining how each location and object fits into The Beatles journey without overwhelming you.

Discovery Zone and café: There’s space to slow down toward the end, whether that’s a quick break at the café or a look around the themed store for souvenirs.

The full experience lasts around 1.5 hours.

Head to the Stadium Tours Reception at Liverpool Football Club to begin your visit.

Tours are not available on match days or major event days.

Dressing rooms are closed to visitors the day before a home match.

Pitch access is not included.

Parking is available at Stanley Park Car Park, and charges may apply.

The LFC Retail Store is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.

Children must be accompanied by a full-paying adult.

The Beatles Museum

Facilities: Restrooms, gift shop, cafe on-site

Kids under the age of 5 are admitted for free.

There are intermittent fire alarm safety tests every Tuesday morning.

The Beatles Story is open every day, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

The full Beatles Story experience can take anything from 1-3 hours. However, the average visitor takes approximately 90 minutes.
