Die Grundidee ist super auch das der audioguide über das Handy geht finde ich klasse. - Man hat 3 App gebraucht um das Erlebnis zu haben - Der Audioguide war bei Android sehr Strom fressen - Der Audioguide lief bei Android nicht weiter sondern musste jedesmal per Hand wieder aktiviert werden bei Spiel war es gut - Die Aktivierung der einzelnen Tickets war kompliziert und hat teilweise dann nicht funktioniert. - Es war nicht alles über die App so das man zum ticket stand mußte und mit der app das physische ticket holen musste - Der hop on bus war ausgebucht bevor man ihm buchen konnte. Schon seit der ersten Minute mit der App - Bei der Tour nach Kap Sounion gab es trotz freier Plätze nur Fehlermeldungen.

Das System die Tickets zu erhalten ist sehr kompliziert. Die, für die Akropolis kamen per Mail, die anderen muss man über die App vorab buchen und beim Ticket fürs Stadion wiederum reichte es den Pass Vorort beim Ticketschalter vorzuweisen. Bei den Tickets, die über die App zu buchen waren, funktionierte die App nicht und ich musste mit der Hotline telefonieren. Die waren grundsätzlich recht hilfsbereit, aber Stress darf man keinen haben. Die Qualität der Übersetzung im Audioguide war ziemlich schlecht, sorgte aber fairerweise bei uns für Unterhaltung. Preislich schätze ich es für akzeptabel ein.

Enter the Acropolis through the main or south gate on your selected date and time. Then, use the tickets emailed to you to access the other sites at your own pace.

What to expect

Acropolis of Athens

The Acropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is an iconic landmark of ancient Greece, with over 2,500 years of history. Set on a limestone hill, it’s surrounded by historic ruins that shaped Western civilization.

Features:

Parthenon: This 5th-century BCE temple is dedicated to Athena and renowned for its Doric architecture and historical influence.

Ancient Agora and Museum: Once a bustling hub of Athens, the Agora features ruins of stoas, temples, and the well-preserved Hephaisteion.

Roman Agora: Built during the Roman era, this open-air market was central to Athenian public life and commerce.

Temple of Olympian Zeus (Olympieion): One of the largest temples of the ancient world, known for its colossal Corinthian columns.

Aristotle’s Lyceum: The site of Aristotle’s school of philosophy, pivotal in the development of Western thought.

Panathenaic Stadium: Step inside the world’s only all-marble stadium, host of the first modern Olympics.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

Bring your own earphones and a fully charged smartphone for the audio tours, as physical audio devices or earphones are not provided.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the archaeological sites for security reasons.

Pets are not permitted

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Skipping security checks is not permitted at any site.

Accessibility

Some archaeological sites may have uneven terrain, steps, or limited accessibility for wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility. Please check individual site facilities in advance if you have specific accessibility needs.

Additional information

Once booked, the travel date and entry time slot for the Acropolis cannot be changed.

Your selected time slot applies only to the Acropolis. Visits to other sites require separate tickets and must be scheduled through the Smartvisit app after booking.

Due to ongoing construction works, the main entrance of the Ancient Agora is temporarily closed. Please use the temporary entrance on Apostolou Pavlou Street, near Akamantos Street.

The combo pass is valid for 3 consecutive days starting from your first entry.

Children under 18 can enter free of charge by presenting a valid ID at the ticket booth of each site.

Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the redemption point.

Please arrive at the redemption point 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your visit to avoid any delays.
