The tour of Castle Gandolfo was wonderful. Instructions from Headout on exactly where to meet and support was totaling lacking. I would not use Headout again

What was most inspiring was learning about how Castel Gandolfo was opened up as a refuge site for the local population during WWII. The photo exhibit telling of that story was compelling and is certainly an example for the times that we live in today.

This historic residence, perched above Lake Albano, has served as a papal retreat for centuries and is renowned for its cultural and religious significance.

In particular, the twin observatory domes are located on the third floor and are not accessible to visitors with mobility impairments.
