Visiting Upper Antelope Canyon was one of the highlights of our trip and an experience I will never forget. The canyon itself is absolutely breathtaking, with incredible colors, smooth sandstone walls, and amazing light that make every corner look like a work of art. Our Navajo guide made the tour even more special by sharing fascinating stories about the canyon, the history of the Navajo community, and the cultural significance of this unique place. It was wonderful to learn about the traditions and hear personal stories that brought the canyon to life. The guide was also very helpful in showing us the best camera angles and photo spots, so we came away with some truly spectacular pictures. Every minute of the tour was well organized, informative, and enjoyable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Arizona. It is much more than just a sightseeing tour—it is an unforgettable journey through nature, culture, and history that will leave you with incredible memories and fantastic photographs.

We toured Upper Antelope Canyon today to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our tour guide, Ro, made our visit truly special. Ro shared fascinating insights about Navajo culture, adding depth and meaning to everything we saw. He also pointed out incredible images hidden within the canyon's rock formations that we would have easily missed on our own. One of the highlights was his help with taking photos—he knew exactly where to position us and how to capture the canyon's stunning colors and light, giving us beautiful memories to take home. Ro's knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine care made our anniversary celebration even more memorable. We highly recommend Antelope Hogan Tours, and if you have the opportunity, ask for Ro as your tour guide. He helped make our 30th anniversary an experience we'll never forget.

Good day, my review is a little delayed, but necessary. Our guide, Olivia , was absolutely great. She is a wealth of information about our trip and destination. Entertaining and certainly not boring (something I I was afraid of). Traveller safety and comfort was a priority every step of the way from pickup to drop off. Driver, apologies, the name fails me was also great and drove very safely. The condition of the bus is 2nd to none as I have been on other tours before and there have been some that I would not even get on the bus for after seeing the condition/maintenence of the bus. I would mose certainly 1, consider another tour from nationalparkexpress and 2, would certainly prefer to have Olivia be our guide again.

Visiting Upper Antelope Canyon was a dream come true for our family. The canyon is truly magical, and every turn revealed another incredible view. Our guide was excellent—patient, informative, and happy to help everyone capture beautiful photos. Everything was perfectly organized, and the experience exceeded our expectations. It was one of the most memorable moments of our entire USA road trip, and we would happily do it again.

The Antelope Canyon was phenomenal! Just in awe of the beauty that was created there. We see why this is such a special and sacred place to the Navajo. We enjoyed a personal tour by Le Roy. We were not rushed through and he showed us many figures that have been found over the years. He was very personable, took our pictures, told us about the slot canyons and answered any questions we had. Great job Le Roy ! 👏

Our tour guide Olivia was the best, very knowledgeable about Las Vegas history and the geology we saw on the trip. Bus driver Luis also did a great job. And Mike our Navajo guide was a pro at phone photography and made my pictures look like they were shot by a professional!!

We had the best time. The Tour guide was amazing I think his name was Curtis, but not sure. The tour was spectacular and well worth it. We are 66+ and had no issues. Thank you!

What's not allowed

Please refrain from touching the canyon walls, as they are fragile, and it can accelerate the sandstone erosion process.

Keep in mind that bags, tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, and pets are not allowed on the tour, so pack light!

Video recording and flash photography are prohibited, but feel free to take photos.

Hiking sticks, canes, or walkers are not allowed inside the canyons.

Accessibility

Upper Antelope Canyon is on relatively flat terrain, but keep in mind that the exit part of the tour involves stairs.

This experience is not recommended for pregnant individuals or anyone who may struggle physically to complete the hike.

Children under the age of 7 are not allowed to participate in the tour.

The tour is not wheelchair or stroller accessible.

Additional information

All tours are based on Mountain Standard Time, which is the same all year round (same as Phoenix, AZ, and Page, AZ).

It is recommended to wear good sneakers for optimal comfort during your experience.

Offer a $3-$5 per person tip to your Navajo guide as gratuities. Keep extra cash with you for the same.

Arrive at your tour location at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

There are no restrooms within the canyons.
