So, we went hoping for whales but honestly just riding on the MS Gabrielle was EPIC by itself. The boat is suuuper cozy, and I didn’t get seasick (took a ginger tablet just in case). The crew were chatty and seemed like they actually wanted to be there, which is cool. We spotted two eagles and a seal (random but neat). Bring ur own snacks though, there’s not much food except some instant coffee. My partner and I just sat on the top deck most of the time, freezing but happy. If ur into animals and don’t mind some chilly wind, would 100% recommend.

Went with my parents and my little sis. Boat was comfy, blankets everywhere. Saw a couple of orcas, but from a bit far (crew said it’s normal this time of year). Staff were suuuuper informative, like whale nerds in a good way. Only thing is, the trip is loooong and I got a bit bored in the middle. Would be cool if there was more food on board. But the scenery!! Mountains looked unreal.

Was okay. Didn’t see much whale action but I guess that’s nature. Boat is really nice though, and the guide kept trying to hype everyone up. Hot chocolate was a nice touch. Felt a bit rushed at the viewing spot, but the crew made up for it with stories about the sea. Would say it’s worth it if you’re chill with maybe not seeing whales.

This was my first whale tour and it was UNREAL. Saw two humpbacks up close, literally right by the railing. Took like 200 blurry photos lol. Staff was friendly, especially Anna who explained all the whale types. The ride out was long but never boring, fjords are wild. Pro tip: bring your own sandwich, the food is meh. Would def do again.

It was FREEZING but so worth. Went with friends, bundled up like marshmallows. Saw a pod of orcas—like, real-life orcas! Boat is super warm inside, windows are huge (easy to see out). Crew gave good info, even let us ask all our dumb questions. Bring gloves, trust me.
