It worked just fine and easy with the Swiss Travel Pass!
I just had to show the paper printout of the passport, which I had with me. Only on one occasion, during a train journey, I also had to show my Swedish passport.

Truly a must for touring Switzerland at your leisure, without worrying about tickets. We got on several trains, streetcars and boats, without paying anything extra. Very simple and comfortable.

Our ticketing experience with Headout ended up being extrememly easy to use and very helpful for all the places we wanted to go. We were able to take the train from Zurich to Laussane, take the local transportation (bus/train/boat) all with one pass. It was pricier than we were hoping to spend but made up for it in convenience.

The swiss pass is a golden ticket. With it you can explore all of Switzerland and you can board any train or bus or boat without worrying too much about buying tickets. I was able to visit over 5 cities in 4 days and did not have to pay for a single ticket.

Swiss Pass for rails is so much more! Like having a magic ticket for all manner of transport and museums. Very easy. No hassle from train employees.
