as self-drivers we wanted a guide who knew the wadi and we weren't let down. the guide was fantastic - well informed, supportive in the water, great company throughout. hike is moderately challenging but totally accessible and the cave waterfall at the end is extraordinary. wadi shab is one of the most beautiful places i've visited and this tour showed it off perfectly

booked the guided hike as we were driving ourselves and it worked really well. guide was waiting at the car park, introduced himself and took us through one of the most beautiful landscapes i've ever walked through. pools are a vivid blue and the cave waterfall is worth every step. his knowledge of the local environment added a lot. recommend for independent travellers

the self-driver format was perfect for us - drove ourselves to wadi shab and the guide met us at the parking area. great flexibility. hike through the gorge was beautiful and the pools are so clear and refreshing. the cave section at the end was the real highlight - felt like genuine exploration not a tourist trail. well organised and a great way to see the wadi

guided hike and swim was outstanding. drove ourselves to the site and the guide took care of the rest - navigated the rocky paths, kept an eye on everyone in the water, shared info about the wadi throughout. cave waterfall is the undisputed highlight but the whole route is worth seeing. perfect for self-drivers who want local expertise
