Bu yıl Hamilton'a kelimenin tam anlamıyla aşık oldum. Önce müziği CD'den dinledim, sonra filmi Disney'de izledim; bu yüzden (ailemizin sayesinde) eşim Kate ve benim için bunu Londra'da canlı izleme fırsatı doğduğunda, bu bir rüyanın gerçekleşmesi gibiydi. Ve beklentilerimizi fazlasıyla karşıladı. Londra harika, Victoria Palace Tiyatrosu çok güzel ve gösterinin kendisi mükemmeldi: İngiliz oyuncu kadrosu harika, sesler ve oyunculuk çok güzel, enerji muazzam, müzik ise güçlü ve kusursuzdu. Kısacası, şahane bir akşamdı!

Hamilton muhteşem bir deneyim. Dansçılar ve şarkıcılar olağanüstü; hareketleri son derece hassas ve sesleri de harika. Atmosfer harika; eski tiyatro, ancak 1920’lerin verebileceği o feodal havayı yansıtıyor. Albert 1-3 numaralı locada oturduk; üst katlardan görüş biraz kısıtlıydı ama bu sorun olmadı, çünkü oyunun büyük kısmı alt katta geçiyordu ve oradan gayet iyi görülebiliyordu. Tek sorun, klimanın son hızda çalışmasıydı; üçümüz için de koltuklarımızda hava çok soğuk ve cereyanlıydı. Yanınıza bir ceket almanızı şiddetle tavsiye ederiz!

Artık oldukça yaşlı olmama rağmen, bayanların ve grubun coşkusu ve enerjisi beni büyüledi. Harika bir deneyimdi ve Berlin’deki tüm arkadaşlarıma bundan bahsettim. Bu akşam için çok teşekkür ederim.

Gösteri harikaydı. Oyuncular ve müzik grubu birinci sınıftı!! O drag kraliçeleri gerçekten çok iyi şarkı söylüyordu. Tiyatro salonu oldukça samimi bir ortama sahipti, herkesin koltuğu çok iyiydi. Gösterinin sonlarına doğru ortam biraz ısındı, bu yüzden rahat kıyafetler giymenizi öneririm. Grubumuzun tamamı akşamdan çok keyif aldı ve bu gösteriyi herkese tavsiye ederiz.

Mason played an amazing Mary! Wonderful cast. Didn't know what to expect when we sat down, but they kept us laughing through the entire show.

The theatre is lovely. You feel like you are so close to the actors. The attendants were very helpful. Katherine Tate was extremely funny, and had a wonderful voice. The play was well written. I am so glad that we got a chance to see the show with this group of actors.

This play and its cast was incredible. I had read the book and seen the movie before, but seeing this story being played out really brought tears to my eyes.
