Ortam inanılmazdı. Tek başıma gittim ve çalışanlar çok nazikti. Oyuncular harikaydı; sütun nedeniyle görüşüm biraz kısıtlı bir koltukta oturmuş olmama rağmen yine de çok keyifliydi ve sahneyi her an gayet iyi görebiliyordum.

Her sahnenin set tasarımı ustaca yapılmıştı ve Dolorian'a yaptıkları iş gerçekten muhteşemdi. Hikâye, orijinaline sadık kalırken, bizi kahkahalara boğan mizah unsurları ve bolca dans ve şarkı da eklenmişti. Gösteride epey çocuk vardı ve bazı replikler onları da kıkırdatmıştı. Bence Doc gösterinin yıldızıydı, onda o özel bir şey vardı! Kocam bu "müzikal"e zorla getirildi ama gösteriden ve özel efektlerden çok keyif alarak ayrıldı.

Baştan sona unutulmazdı – seslerin kalitesi, sahneleme, zekice tasarlanmış kostümler ve özellikle ceylan sürülerinin canlandırılması, temsil edilen hayvanı çağrıştıran maskeler, Simba ve arkadaşının çocukluktan yetişkinliğe geçişi; mizah; orkestranın kalitesi ve sonuç olarak, yazarken, birbirine bakan iki locadaki "stereo" perküsyonları hatırlıyorum; mükemmelden de öteydiler. Muhteşem bir gösteri. Hiç eskimeden ve modası geçmeden kalıcı bir klasik. Tüm sanatçıların performansı muhteşemdi. Kostümler ve sahne dekorasyonu da gösteriyi mükemmelleştiriyor. Koltuğum, müzikalin tamamını izleyip hiçbir şeyi kaçırmamak için idealdi. Unutulmaz bir deneyim.
