One of the most memorable moments from our visit to the Colosseum was standing inside the massive arena and imagining the thousands of people who once filled the seats nearly 2,000 years ago. Seeing the size and complexity of the structure in person was far more impressive than any picture could capture. What stood out most was the contrast between the grandeur of the architecture and the reality of what took place there. As we looked across the ancient stone walls and underground chambers, we were reminded of the countless lives, stories, and historical events connected to this iconic landmark. It brought history to life in a way that books and documentaries never could. The experience left a lasting impression because it gave my daughter and myself a deeper appreciation for the ingenuity of ancient civilizations and the enduring impact of history. Standing in a place that has survived centuries of change made us reflect on the passage of time and the legacy people leave behind. It was both humbling and inspiring, making the Colosseum one of the most unforgettable stops on our trip to Rome.

As a first-time visitor to Europe, nothing prepared me for the moment I stepped into the Colosseum's ancient arena. Standing where gladiators once fought nearly 2,000 years ago, I was struck by the sheer scale, history, and atmosphere of the monument. What made the experience unforgettable was looking up at the towering arches and imagining the roar of thousands of spectators who once filled the stands. It felt as though history had come alive around me. The Colosseum stood out because it is far more than an architectural marvel it is a powerful symbol of human ambition, resilience, and storytelling across centuries. That single moment of standing in the heart of one of the world's greatest landmarks left a lasting impression on me. As my first European trip, it set an incredibly high standard and gave me a deep appreciation for the rich history and culture that Europe has to offer.

Bei diesem Kombiticket (Vatikanische Museen/Sixtinische Kapelle + das Pantheon) ist alles super gelaufen. Wir haben das Pantheon auf Tag 1 und den Vatikan auf Tag 2 gelegt. Beide Male waren wir früher da und durften jeweils frühere Timeslots nutzen. Der Zugang zum Pantheon hat hier ca 5 Minuten gedauert. Der Zugang zu den Vatikanischen Museen inkl. Sicherheitscheck auch nur 15 Minuten! Beim Vatikan würde ich empfehlen möglichst früh einen Slot zu buchen, da man nsch hinten unbegrenzt Zeitnhat und diese auch nutzen sollten. Die Dame an der Touristik-Agentur meinte wir bräuchten sicherlich ca 2-3 Stunden. Wir waren insgesamt 5 Stunden in den Museen. Klare Empfehlung von uns!

The guide met us in time at the confirmed meeting point close to the Pantheon. When he realized that one of the persons in the group was 94 years old and should not stay out in the sun too long, he followed us to the correct line and made sure the waiting time was as short as possible. We also found the audio link very useful to listed to in the days after the visit. The commentaries very recorded in a very good manner, which made it very interesting to listen to and learn from.

The most memorable part of the Colosseum was just how much history is packed into one place. You think you know what to expect, but standing inside, you see and learn so much more than a textbook can ever offer. From the mind-blowing ancient engineering to the sheer scale of the ruins, every single corner gives you something incredible to look at. they consistently remind you of all the information you will need days in advance so that you will not forget. There wasn't one piece of information that I wish I had that I didn't have it was very clear in the multiple WhatsApp messages that they sent overtime. Very clear

Todo muy bien. Hubiera preferido que las entradas llegasen al momento de comprarlas, así, te quedas más tranquila de que las tienes. Pero llegan 3 días antes de la fecha al correo electrónico. Las entradas que nos enviaron eran las mismas que de la página web oficial, (que cuestan 18 euros) pero con un vídeo explicativo (que no era muy bueno) y suben el precio a 25/30€ (lo veo excesivo), pero gracias a ello pude entrar a ver el coliseo, así que si no te importa pagar, todo genial
