I went to Ouzoud with my partner and it was honestly one of those days I’ll remember forever. The drive was a bit long (like, 3 hours? but I lost track chatting), but our guide, Hassan, kept telling stories and random facts—did you know the monkeys there sometimes steal sunglasses? The waterfall itself is just EPIC. Mist in your face, super green everywhere, and we took the little boat right up close (got kinda soaked, not complaining). Lunch on the cliff was DELISH, the view was wild. Bring cash for the food stalls, they didn’t take card. We walked a lot, but totally manageable if you’re semi-fit. I still dream about the sound of the water. 100% would drag my friends here if I come back.

Such an adventure! Went with my gf and two friends. Drove out from Marrakech, took way longer than we thought (traffic, ugh) but the scenery on the way is so nice. The falls themselves are WOW. We did the little boat tour and got SOAKED, everyone was laughing. The walk down is steep, but you can take your time. There’s a spot where you can swim but water was freezing, so we just dipped our toes. Loved the monkeys, but one tried to open my backpack lol. Big shout out to our guide, Imad, he was so patient with our group.

Ouzoud waterfalls were MAGICAL. I went solo and somehow ended up in a group with other travelers so didn’t feel alone at all. The boat ride was fun, got us super close to the falls (bring a rain jacket if you care about getting wet, I didn’t). Guides were so friendly, explained a lot about the local plants and animals. Saw a family of monkeys! Only downside was the steps, lots of them, but worth it for the view at the bottom. Would go again.

Went with my two sisters. The falls are really beautiful, but soooo crowded midday—like, get there early, trust me. Our guide, Samir, was chill and cracked jokes the whole way. The monkeys are cool but watch your snacks, they’re sneaky! We felt a bit rushed during the lunch stop, but food was good (tagine, classic). The path is a bit slippery, wear proper shoes. Def worth the trip, just wish we had more time to chill at the base.

Mixed feelings tbh. Waterfalls are beautiful, but toooo many people, especially by the water’s edge. Boat ride was okay, nothing crazy. Our guide Rachid was helpful but hard to hear sometimes and the group got split up at one point. Liked the monkeys but they’re not shy—I nearly lost my apple. Lunch was decent, not amazing. If you hate crowds, maybe try off-season.
