Buying the guided tour saved the day really. We got to Versailles only to learn all tickets for the Palace were sold out for more than a week. As soon as I saw it was possible to tour the Palace through Headout, I bought the tickets with only 25 minutes to spare before the tour started. In the end it was even better because our tour guide was awesome. She was very knowledgeable, very personable and charismatic, and guided us through the crowds well. I think we ended up having a better experience with her than if we got the tickets on our own!Geert

Although it was very crowded, our guide Bo always kept an eye on the group and found a "quiet" spot so that we could listen to her interesting and engaging explanations. We learned a lot of interesting and humorous facts. We can only recommend Bo and the tour.
