The view from the Gornergrat is breathtaking! Train ride also with many beautiful views. Train was unfortunately very full! We were given priority on the uphill journey due to our booking.

Thanks to the online ticket, I was able to board the train without having to wait or queue. A seat on the right-hand side of the train was perfect for the view of the Matterhorn and the magnificent landscape. There is something for everyone up at the top station, and there are also easily accessible viewpoints. The whole excursion was of course characterized by the good weather and the good view of the Matterhorn and the Gornegrat glacier.

Of course, the beautiful view from the Gornergrat and the closely timed trains. However, why do you have to take an analog ticket from a machine when you already have it on your cell phone? The friendly information staff were a great help though.
