As locals, we weren’t sure if the Red Bus Tour would be worth it — but wow, it absolutely exceeded expectations! It’s such a fun and relaxing way to rediscover Cape Town. The commentary was informative without being dull, and the views from the top deck were unbeatable. Even though we know the city well, we learned so many new things and saw our home through fresh eyes. Highly recommend this to both visitors and locals alike!

We had a great day touring using the bus to get around. Everyone from the office staff to the drivers and bus stop guides were super friendly and knowledgeable. The buses were clean and safe and the interesting commentary was also really funny! It was so easy to use hop on hop off, there was a bus every few minutes at easy to find stops which took you to the most spectacular of places in Cape Town. Well worth doing!!

I went on the purple route to Constantia. Climbed aboard at the stop on Long Street, the first bus that came was able to take only 7 passengers, as we started panicking about how long we would have to wait for the next bus, we were told not to worry as another bus would be organized soon. The hosts were very friendly and helpful as were the drivers.
