Loved the serene boat trip across Manapouri, the beautful scenery and informative commentary on the bus trip (loved the Aussie bus driver's humour) and the stunning Doubtful Sounds. A fab day trip into the wilderness, no other boats in sight. A very professionally run operation. Disappointed we didn't do the 5 minutes of silence due to the rain, maybe could still be done while we stood outside under cover? Otherwise a great trip, thanks!

An overcast day on the Doubtful Sound cruise with low misty cloud around the mountains and valleys creating an aura of mystery as we voyaged out to the Tasman Sea. On our return we viewed the Helena Falls at the power sheme tailrace exit, then climbed in our bus to the Wilmot Pass where the cloud cleared sufficiently to look back on Doubtful Sound with the Falls a thin white stripe on the right of the attached photo. A superb day out.

Loved the kiwi humour. Very relaxed but actually very efficient too. Everyone was determinedly positive through the rain. Crews cared for us really well. Instructions were clear, polite but definite. Bus drive ( which l thought would be the boring bit ) was very entertaining and informative. Lots of opportunities to take photos. Scenery was magnificent and loved getting to the sea.
