Tickets were easy to buy and saved a small queue. Parking was easy. The walk to the castle stunning. The castle was well presented inside and out. The paper guide and the exhibition were very helpful and informative. Lunch in the cafe was great and the gift shop was worth a visit. The best part for us on a beautiful day was the parkland and river. The rose garden and the trails especially by the river. As we left we discovered the stable area but the donkeys were missing ( probably sheltered from the heat. Overall a great day out. And I'm sure if we came back we'd discover more. Good value.

Hard to imagine from below, but the Château Royale d'Amboise is really beautiful. The Histopad provides further insights into the history of the castle and vividly presents the various inhabitants. The garden is also beautifully laid out.

The gardens were magnificent, ingenious and resplendent, and the visit to the château and the artists' works was interesting. In short, everything was perfect, as was the quick access with no waiting time thanks to ticket registration on the telephone.

One of the most beautiful castle in Loire. Great mix between old and contemporary arts
  • These tickets are valid until 25 Oct, 2025.

  • Your Loire Valley adventure begins at Chambord, a castle so grand it feels like stepping into a fairytale. The vast estate unfolds before you, with 400 rooms, 365 fireplaces, and that legendary double-helix staircase—where two people can ascend and descend without ever crossing paths. Stroll through royal chambers, marvel at the intricate ceilings, and take in panoramic views from the terraces.

    Royal Chateau of Blois

This is a castle that tells the story of ornate balconies, and secret passageways that whisper tales of courtly intrigue. The highlight? The dramatic spiral staircase in the François I wing, a true masterpiece of Renaissance design.

    Chenonceau Castle

The famed “Ladies’ Château” stretching elegantly over the Cher River. Walk through lavishly decorated rooms once ruled by powerful women like Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Medici, then step outside to explore the perfectly manicured gardens.

    Amboise Royal Castle

Perched high above the Loire River, this former royal residence is not just about its striking blend of Gothic and Renaissance architecture—it’s also the final resting place of Leonardo da Vinci. Step inside the chapel where he lies and soak in the same views that once inspired him.

    Clos Lucé Castle

This is stepping inside the world of Leonardo da Vinci. Tour his final residence, see models of his revolutionary inventions, and wander gardens filled with interactive displays of his visionary ideas.

    Chaumont-sur-Loire

This castle offers a mix of history and creativity. With its annual International Garden Festival and stunning interiors, this castle is a fusion of past and present, where contemporary art installations breathe new life into historic spaces.
