Buying and scheduling was easy. It was used in Switzerland and Italy with no questions asked. It is the cheapest way to travel. Seamless activation
- Your Eurail Pass is fully mobile! Activate it in the Rail Planner App using the Pass Number from your confirmation email.
- After activation, add your journey to get a QR code ticket in the app that must be presented to the inspectors at the station.
- Don’t forget to reserve seats for trains that require bookings – do it early via the Rail Planner app!
What's not allowed
- This pass cannot be sold or used by residents of Europe, the Russian Federation, and Turkey.
Additional information
- The pass isn't valid in your country of residence, except for two journeys – one to leave and one to return.
- Seat/bed reservations for mandatory trains are an extra cost and may be limited, so booking in advance via the Rail Planner app or at the station is recommended.
- 4/5/7-day passes are valid for 30 days after activation, and 10/15-day passes are valid for 60 days after activation.
