Very nice activity to do. This sanctuary is truly amazing. 100% wood. The work of a goldsmith. A small area with farmyard animals, some of them free-ranging. You can even feed them, much to the delight of children. For the ladies, if you're in shorts or a tank top, you can borrow a sarong to cover up. Thai restaurant on site near the entrance and on the sanctuary level, only fried food is available.

The sanctuary was amazing. Very lucky we had the time to go visit, it was a wonderful experience. Great guide! Been to a lot of places in the world and this is one not to be missed. Ticket process was easy and we sent over several other friends from our group, they too were amazed!

The Sanctuary of Truth is a modern architectural marvel, composed entirely of wood without any metal nails. Its construction follows the building techniques of the past, representing the best of hand-hewn woodworking in Thailand. The construction of the temple is meant to exemplify the religious philosophy of impermanence, and the complex has 4 wings dedicated to Thai, Khmer, Chinese and Indian religious iconography. Take in the intricacy of the wood carvings as you walk around the building with your expert local guide, who will tell you more about the cultural and historical significance of the 105-meter tall building. The approximate time spent in the Sanctuary of Truth is 2-4 hours, including a guided tour which takes around 45-60 minutes.

Dress code: modest, covering clothes. Shawls and sarongs are available for rent.

You'll have to wear a helmet inside the museum, for your safety.
