Celebrating New Year’s has just gotten better, with a full-fledged experience at the magnificent Sydney Opera House. With dinner, fireworks and a 60-person orchestra, embrace the new year in style, as you enjoy beautiful views of the Sydney Harbour and Harbour Bridge. Some of the greatest arias in history, composed by some of the most erstwhile Italian artists, such as Giacomo Puccini, Gioachino Rossini, and Giuseppe Verdi. Sydney is famous for its glamorous New Year celebrations, and you will have the opportunity to experience the ambiance inside one of its most famous venues. Welcome the new year in style, with a classical music performance!
You can enjoy a scrumptious pre-performance dinner as you overlook Sydney Harbour. Following the dinner or some drinks, a 60-piece orchestra will take the stage. You can listen to some of the greatest arias in history, performed by the supremely talented Opera Australia Orchestra. There will be a fireworks display at 9 PM, during the interval. The performance will continue after this, and you will With the Midnight Party tickets, you can get access to exclusive viewing areas, with panoramic sights of the Sydney Harbour Bridge along with the fireworks above. You can enjoy the famous Sydney New Year’s Eve fireworks following the opera performance, at the Northern Foyers of the Opera House. Although you are guaranteed to view the fireworks from the foyer with the Midnight Party tickets, space on the balcony outside will be limited. You can also view the fireworks from the Southern Foyer if you do not have the Midnight Party tickets, although you may not be able to see the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Canapes and entertainment abound, and you are in for a night filled with fun as you welcome the new year!

Strictly prohibited. If you'd like to grab a meal before or after the show, check out Overture Dining in the Northern Foyer of the Joan Sutherland Theatre.
There will be a timed interval with fireworks. Please be aware that this event is very popular and the balconies will be crowded during the fireworks.
Moderate Cancellation Policy
You may cancel up to 48 hours in advance for groups lesser than 8.
You will receive an email confirmation along with your mobile voucher shortly. Your tickets will be available at the Box Office of the Sydney Opera House about one hour before the performance. You will need to display a photo ID to collect your tickets.
