Milford Sound for nature lovers

Despite the weather, the boat cruise was great. Approx 40 people on boards so plenty of room. The commentary from Steve was informative and not too much. He did a great job getting us close to the spectacular waterfalls. We were lucky to see some seals having fun in their environment. The Milford sounds really are awe inspiring. Even the road trip out was incredible. Make sure you allow plenty of time to travel there as it's a busy route with buses and windy roads.

The Milford Sound boat excursion was awesome and I'd highly recommend it. However I would recommend bypassing Headout and booking directly with Pure Milford. Headout gave us the incorrect information saying that they were collecting us from our accommodation, which they did not do. We were left waiting for a ride that never arrived. This could have ended badly if we hadn't been able to walk to the bus stop in town. Headout you need to give people the right information!

We had a fantastic young team consisting of a tour guide and bus driver. They told us a lot of interesting things, and their planning and organization were perfect.

The view was stunning, also saw seals & Keas and had friendly guides on the bus/cruise. We got lot of information, had some nice stops for taking photos and enjoying the moment. We also loved and appreciated the moment of silence. Thank you!

Tour very weel managed. We like a lot our driver/guide Zoe. She was very kind and gave us a lot of interesting informations. We was very lucky to meet her 🤩

Fabulous cruise of Milford Sound onboard Mariner. ⛴️. Adam our tour guide gave a very informative commentary. Would recommend this two hour cruise. If driving arrive early as parking is rather difficult!
