This combo provides a good value to people who have 2-3 days of time to explore the amusement parks in Gold Coast. I travelled solo and found it completely safe. Public transportation to all attractions was easy and affordable. The rides at Dream world were thrilling and whitewater world was double the fun because of all the water activities. In the evening, one an relax whilst having dinner at Skypoint which offers a 360 degree view of Gold Coast from the 77th floor - the view is stunning and a must-not-skip if one is visiting Gold Coast.
