Servicen var exceptionell. Vi anlände sent, ganska upprörda eftersom våra planer inte hade fungerat som vi hoppades, och förväntade oss att få höra att vi hade missat vår tur. Alex (eller Alec?) tog oss snabbt till Vatikanens ingång där han kunde hitta vår guide och din grupp. Vi kunde inte vara mer tacksamma för honom för det. Lucia, vår guide, var informativ och hjälpsam och erbjöd sig att ta bilder av gruppmedlemmar vid olika punkter på turnén. The tunnels snaking underground are lined with tombs carved out of the rock, making this an eerie sight to behold.
Castel Sant'Angelo

Split across five floors connected by a spiral ramp, you will access the hallowed chamber of ashes, and the grey cells in that held incarcerated historical figures.
