Bokade denna upplevelse kvällen innan jag åkte eftersom onlinebiljetterna till Vatikanen var slutsålda. Se till att om du tar Taxi går du till mötesplatsen och inte bara Vatikanen eftersom de kan vara långt ifrån varandra. Vi bokade 8 AM-biljetter men det tar cirka 20 minuter att få biljetterna efter att ha träffat guiden. Det som är bra är att du väntar på kontoret snarare än ute i solen. Efter det guidas du till ingången och vi gick direkt in. Mycket enkelt och bekvämt skulle helt rekommendera. Det enda är att det kan vara förvirrande vid mötesplatsen eftersom det finns många andra reseguider med flaggor och du börjar undra vart du ska gå.

Slutligen, det som gjorde hela upplevelsen så minnesvärd och speciell var att träffa olika människor från olika bakgrunder runt om i världen.

Guiden var verkligen till stor hjälp för att få tillgång till museerna. Snäll, vänlig och professionell, tillgänglig för alla frågor, även i fasen före besöket för att ta reda på reglerna för tillgång. Museerna är obeskrivliga, förutom att de är något som absolut inte går att upprepa nuförtiden. Vi var där inne i tre och en halv timme. Oförglömlig upplevelse. Underbart.

Museerna är verkligen värda din tid: häpnadsväckande, kulturellt intressanta och så många konstverk som du inte får se någon annanstans så här. Är det värt att hoppa över kön: kanske. Det beror på om du vill vänta lite längre (1 eller 2 timmar) för att spara cirka 30 €/biljett. För oss som reste i augusti och var på vår smekmånad var det helt värt att hoppa över kön.

When you land at the airport, simply move to the shuttle station within the premise to catch the train. Rome Termini railway station is conveniently located in the center of the city allowing you greater access and more options. You can take the exit onto Via Marsala to the right side, onto Via Giolitti to the left side, or onto Piazza Dei Cinquecento straight away.

Photography and the use of mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the Sistine Chapel.

Luggage and/or large bags are not allowed inside the venue. You may drop off your bags with the free cloakroom service.

Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue, with the exception of guide dogs.

Please be dressed appropriately. Sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, shorts, and hats are not permitted. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for all guests.

It is recommended to cover tattoos and any other similarly visible distinctive personal signs.
