Guidad tur i Cotswolds med möjlighet till lunch på ett historiskt värdshus

Our Cotswolds tour was one of those days that reminded us that sometimes the journey itself is just as enjoyable as the places you visit. The countryside was every bit as beautiful as we had imagined... rolling green hills, honey-coloured stone cottages and villages that seem to have changed very little with time. What made the experience particularly enjoyable was having a guide who gave us the stories and history behind the places we were seeing, rather than simply taking us from one photo stop to another. There was a comfortable pace to the day, with enough time to appreciate the character of the villages without feeling that we were constantly rushing back to the bus. Lunch at the inn was a real highlight. It fitted the setting perfectly and added something special to the experience. Good traditional food enjoyed in a place with genuine history and atmosphere. It felt much more appropriate than stopping at an ordinary restaurant somewhere along the route. The Cotswolds are certainly beautiful enough to explore independently, but having someone else take care of the driving, navigation and timing allowed us to simply enjoy the scenery and each other’s company. A very memorable day and a lovely glimpse of a quieter, more timeless side of England.

this was a beautiful tour. I must see if you're in London, the Cotswald are gorgeous, quaint and wonderful to walk-through. The history of them is magnificent. Just be careful to read the fine print when booking because ours did not include the lunch although the title of the trip made it seem that lunch was included when you bought the tour, there were other tour titles that did not include lunch in Laycock so we assumed that since this one included lunch that it was included in the price of our tickets, but we were wrong.

Giornata stupenda alla scoperta dei villaggi delle Cotswolds. Il minibus e il numero ridotto di partecipanti ha consentito di risparmiare sui tempi e di visitare bene quattro tra i villaggi più pittoreschi della zona, con gli angoli più conosciuti.

On a very hot day the air conditioned coach was comfortable for our group of about 22 and a blessed escape from the heat and congestion in London. Our driver Hector was excellent and our guide Toby was all anyone could ask for, engaging, knowledgeable and very helpful. En fantastisk guidad tur med Mike, som var otroligt trevlig. Platserna är fantastiska, men det som imponerade mest var att få lära sig om deras historia. Vi hade också gott om tid att promenera runt, utforska och ta bilder.
