Our visit was fabulous. There is one thing the park could improve upon. That is better signage. We frequently could not determine which way to go to get to our next destination, even with the map in hand. I prefer a paper map and a good size one at that. Even so, we back tracked a little bit. Other than those things the park was fabulous. We didn't get to see the cheetah run. They were out for breeding ( I think). We took the Safari Tram. That was nice. We ate at the really nice restuarant in Elephant Valley. The food and server were both great. Even our drinks were the best I've ever tasted. Being able to sit across from the Elephants and just enjoy watching them while lunching was fabulous.

My daughter loved everything it was her 2nd birthday and she was just taking it all in safari was amazing and all staff both in stands stores and guides were very helpful and insightful we still havent hit the zoo part yet and will go back once tht e heat dies down a bit 😅

Convenient way to handle tickets. Our zoo experience was amazing. Having tickets available on my phone app, gave me one less thing to worry about on our trip from Michigan.

I always wanted to buy a house I don't know where, now I will put just my and my family's bed right there in the the middle of the park.... we loved so very much ❤️

In general the sisplays are well done and you can find help easily throughout the park. The sky gondola wasn't working and cost of items inside is quite expensive

The zoo was a very good experience and I enjoyed spending the day there with my kids and my grandkids. I loved seeing the hippos in the water underneath through the glass , was amazing how large they are! And the polar bear swimming underneath in the water also amazing experience! The pandas and kualas were so cute too at the zoo! I loved being able to see the tiger up close through the window at the Makaw cafe/market at the Safari Park! So cool to see the cheetah out underneath the tree and the beautiful giraffes! The gorillas too were amazing to see! Only thing I was disappointed with was we headed out to the area take the tram ride around 3:00 and before we got there we're told by other visitors on the path that it was too late! Maybe if the park were to announce or let visitors know at the entrance to get the tram before 3:00, would have been helpful! But overall I enjoyed both parks. My family really enjoyed seeing the elephants play at the safari park I missed that cause grandma (me) had to head back halfway through cause of the heat. All the park employees were helpful and very nice! It was 94 degrees at 1:30 the afternoon we visited! 😊

I love the 2 park one ticket pass! I also love that the passes don't expire until a year from when bought so it was super helpful when it came to our busy trip schedule, and how huge the zoo and safari park is in general for us to be able to visit the other park another day. 10/10 recommend this package and these parks & I do recommend going early. The parks are HUGE. Going early will give you enough time to really enjoy them!

The way the zoo is laid out and the animal habitats are really special. It was particularly fascinating to see the apes play, grapple, chase and stalk each other in their habitat!

San Diego Zoo Safari Park

Upptäck djurlivet i vidsträckta livsmiljöer inspirerade av Afrika, Asien, Australien och andra regioner, med stigar och utsiktsplatser utformade med hänsyn till djurens naturliga miljöer. Tillbringa dagen med att växla mellan möten med vilda djur, dagliga presentationer och den ingående turen med Africa Tram, eller lägg till en safari som köps separat för en mer guidad upplevelse.

Kännetecken:

Africa Tram: Följ med på en cirka 25 minuter lång rundtur med guidning genom savannens livsmiljöer, där du kan hålla utkik efter giraffer, noshörningar och andra vilda djur från ett safarifordon. Åkturen ingår i inträdesavgiften, kräver ingen bokning och fungerar enligt principen ”först till kvarn”.

Omfattande livsmiljöer för vilda djur: Promenera genom en stor utomhuspark där djuren hålls i rymliga miljöer som återspeglar deras naturliga livsmiljöer, vilket ger dig olika möjligheter att observera djurlivet under hela dagen.

En resa ut i vildmarken: Delta i en daglig presentation vid Benbough Amphitheater, där specialister på vilddjursvård presenterar djurambassadörerna och berättar om deras koppling till det globala naturvårdsarbetet.

Djurupplevelser: Håll utkik efter djur som geparder, giraffer, noshörningar, gorillor och andra djur när du tar dig fram genom parkens olika livsmiljöer och vandringsleder. Vilka vilda djur man får se kan variera, så det finns ingen garanti för att man får se just vissa djur.

Walkabout Australia: Utforska Australiens naturområden där du kan stöta på djur som kängurur och näbbdjur medan du vandrar längs parkens vandringsleder.

Planera din dag med Park-appen: Använd den GPS-baserade appen för att kolla dagens program, hitta djur och matställen, importera din biljett och skapa en personlig dagsplan.

Tillgängliga sätt att utforska: De flesta gångvägarna är anpassade för rullatorer och liknande hjälpmedel, och en tillgänglighetsbuss förbinder parkens viktigaste områden. Rullstolar och elskotrar kan också hyras nära ingången, i mån av tillgänglighet.
