Bra, lite oorganiserat och en hel del bortkastad tid. Men det var bra. Jag gick av på egen hand för att utforska, eftersom historien kan googlas eller läsas i biblioteket, de flesta människor redan läst och hört, kom sedan för att SE det . Turistguiden måste fokusera på att få människor inuti, ta dem till olika bibliska status, och områden, för bilder. Detta är inte en historieklass, vi hade bara 1-2 timmar, men vår reseguide tillbringade 40 minuter på att berätta historier och historia utanför och på dörren, medan jag applåderar henne för hennes kunskap, men det här är inte en historieklass, 6 av oss hade andra turer planerade direkt efteråt, så vi lämnade turnén halvvägs för att utforska basilikan på egen hand, inklusive gravområdena under.

I had an incredible experience on the St. Peter’s Basilica Guided Tour. Our guide was absolutely amazing and extremely knowledgeable about the rich history and architecture of the basilica. Explore with an official guide

Along the way, your guide will provide insights into the history and symbolism of the artwork and architecture, helping you to understand the significance of what you're seeing. You may also have the opportunity to climb to the top of the dome, which offers breathtaking views of Vatican City and the surrounding area.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: knees and shoulders must be covered for all guests.

Mobile phones must remain on silent mode inside the Basilica.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. The right semicircle of Saint Peter’s Square is equipped with ramp access into the Basilica. For any special requirements, contact accoglienza@fsp.va in advance.

Sign language guided tours are available at the Basilica. This service must be booked at least 48 hours in advance at the following email address: visiteguidate@fsp.va.
