It was a fantastic introduction to opera. The singers and the pianist were wonderful, and it was great to recognise quite a few of the pieces they performed. The venue was perfect and it was great to see that no one had their phones out!

First time inside the Opera House, the architecture is stunning ! The view of the harbour and passing ferries is also unparalleled. The singers were good especially the mezzo who shines more brightly than the rest. Sadly, there were too many uncivilized buffoons around opening packets, giving running commentary and playing with their phones during the performance which blighted the experience.

I accompanied my 90 year old Mother to the performance of La Stupenda recently and we were blown away by the magnificence of the whole performance . The whole cast and choir were fabulous ! The lead Belcanto was wonderful ! Great experience!
