I had an amazing time with Akiba Kart Shibuya such a fun and unforgettable experience! Driving through the city in costume was already a blast, but what truly stood out was how kind and helpful the staff were. At one point, I realized I had lost my passport (every travelers worst nightmare), and the staff went above and beyond to help me. The staff Isa directed me to a nearby police station, and the Ryuichi even helped call the police and offered to leave his own number with them since I didnt have a Japanese phone number. The other two staffs (which I dont know their name) helped me to search for it by taking the other round of the journey of the same route.Thanks to their help and support, I was able to find my passport in the end! Not only was the karting super fun, but the staff made me feel incredibly supported and safe. Cant recommend them enough 100% worth it for anyone visiting Tokyo!

Akiba Kart Shibuya 5/5, no regrets This was pure chaos in the best way possible. Nighttime Shibuya, neon everywhere, people waving, filming, losing their minds and youre right in the middle of it wearing a ridiculous costume, driving through the most iconic crossing in the world. The staff runs a tight ship: clear instructions, strict safety rules, zero nonsense. That actually makes the experience better because youre free to enjoy it without worrying about messing up. The karts are easy to drive, smooth, and perfect for city roads youre not here to race, youre here to be seen. Its touristy, its loud, its unapologetically over-the-top and thats exactly why it works. No pretending to be local, no fake authenticity. Just straight-up fun. Worth every yen. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo at least once. Rating: 5/5 Super fun. Core memory unlocked.

What an absolutely thrilling adventure! Kiyo and Mako were beyond amazingso kind, helpful, and full of energy! The entire experience was exhilarating, but I felt completely safe the whole time. Plus, we got to see so many incredible sights along the way! One of the best parts? They take awesome photos for you, so you can fully enjoy the ride without worrying about missing a single moment. And dont stress if youre not team iPhonetheyll email them too! Theyve got a great system with guides at both the front and back, so even if you hit a red light or another car sneaks in between, youll never feel lost. We went in March, and it was a bit chilly, so Id definitely recommend a light jacket and gloves to stay comfy. Such an unforgettable experiencehighly recommend! 5 Stars An Unforgettable Go-Karting Adventure in Shibuya! I had the most incredible experience with Akiba Kart Shibuya! Driving through the vibrant streets of Tokyo in a go-kart was like a dream come true thrilling, unique, and just pure fun. The energy of Shibuya mixed with the excitement of the ride made this one of the best experiences Ive had in Japan. A huge shoutout and heartfelt thank you to Riko, our amazing guide! She was friendly, fun, and made sure everyone felt safe and confident. Her energy and enthusiasm really elevated the whole experience. From start to finish, everything was super smooth and so well organized. If youre in Tokyo and looking for something unforgettable, Akiba Kart in Shibuya is an absolute must. Great experience here today, I booked the night before for three and had no issues signing up. I recommend getting here 20 minutes before,l. Based on my experience the only thing you need are your id, international drivers license if applicable and comfortable clothes. Go pro or DJI action can if you want. It was great getting to drive through the city and I didnt feel unsafe being next to the larger vehicles, the only time was the uneven road but it also wasnt really an issue. Our guide Maddi was super friendly and made sure we were safe the whole time. Definitely excellent customer service. One thing to note Im a little bit taller and keeping my leg bent ended up being a little uncomfortable for my knee so if that might be an issue for you Id suggest the half hour time instead. Otherwise great time!

Had an absolute blast with Akiba Kart Shibuya, and a huge part of that was thanks to Chris! From the start, he was friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable before we hit the road. He walked us through the rules clearly and added a fun, energetic vibe to the whole experience. Driving through the streets of Shibuya dressed as Mario characters was surrealdefinitely one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Tokyo. Chris made it even better by snapping great photos for us at key stops and keeping the group laughing the whole way. If youre thinking about doing a go-kart tour in Tokyo, ask for Chris at Akiba Kart Shibuya. He made the experience feel personal, exciting, and totally unforgettable. Highly recommend!
