Getting started
You’ll be picked up from Rovaniemi city center, Santa Claus Village, Arctic Treehouse Hotel, or the Ounasvaara area and brought to the Arctic Lifestyle Safari House. Here, you’ll get into winter clothing and after a quick safety briefing you'll be headed straight into Lapland for snowmobiling.

The route is designed for gradual learning, with time to get comfortable on the snowmobile before heading deeper into the wilderness. Regular stops allow for photos, questions, and short breaks along the way.

Bring a valid driver’s license if you intend to drive a snowmobile.
What’s not allowed

Only guests aged 18 and above with a valid driver’s license may operate a snowmobile.

Children may not ride as a snowmobile passenger unless they are tall and strong enough to reach the handles and treads and hold on securely; otherwise, they must travel in a sledge pulled by the guide’s snowmobile.

Personal jackets and shoes are not permitted during the excursion and must be left at the safari house.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited during the activity.
