I went solo for the Dolphin Day Cruise and honestly, I’m still buzzing from how GOOD it was. My pickup from Hanoi was right on time (which is rare, lol). The views of Ha Long Bay are as dreamy as everyone says, but what surprised me was the food – like, seriously, the tofu curry? Next-level. I did the kayaking with a couple from Spain and got completely soaked but in the best way. Only thing – the lunch area got a bit loud with a big tour group, but it didn’t kill the vibe. Staff were super friendly and made sure I ate enough (they kept bringing extra spring rolls, haha). Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Took my parents for their anniversary and they LOVED it, especially mom. She kept taking photos of the limestone rocks like she’d never seen a mountain before, too cute. Food was solid, not mind-blowing but fresh. Only hiccup was the wait for kayaks – about 25 min – but staff kept us entertained with fun facts about the bay. Oh, and bring a jacket! It gets windy up top. Overall solid day out.

The scenery is obviously EPIC, but tbh, the cruise felt kinda rushed. We barely had enough time at the cave stop and the guide was hard to hear over the crowd. Lunch was okay (I’m vegan and my options were pretty basic), but the staff tried. Maybe would have been better with fewer people? Still worth it for the views alone.

If you love taking photos, this is basically heaven. Went with my girlfriend and we couldn’t stop snapping the karsts – every angle was a postcard. Staff gave us tips on the best spots (stand by the left railing as you leave port). Food was a lot better than we expected, especially the grilled fish. Big thanks to the team for making our anniversary so special!

Dolphin Cruise was everything we hoped for and more! We went as a group of friends (4 of us) and had a BLAST. Karaoke on the ride back was unexpectedly hilarious (don’t let Ben sing Purple Rain again). Shoutout to Linh in the dining room, she made sure my friend with a nut allergy was totally safe. Sunsets from the deck are UNREAL. 10/10, would cruise again.
