Went with my boyfriend for a little adventure out of Bordeaux. Saint Emilion is STUNNING—like a fairy tale, seriously. The vineyard tour was super chill, not too fancy, which I liked. Our guide (can’t remember his name, oops) was really funny and seemed to know every random fact about wine and local history. The tasting felt special, even if we’re not wine pros. Bought a bottle to take home, hope it survives my suitcase! Only thing, the weather was scorching so bring water and a hat if ur going in summer.

Booked last minute, didn’t expect much but WOW, Saint Emilion is just beautiful. Our guide (Marion?) was so welcoming and down to earth. The bus ride was comfy, aircon worked (thank god). Wish we had more time wandering the little streets, felt slightly rushed but maybe that’s just me wanting more pastries. The wine place was cool, but I got a bit lost with all the info. Still, def worth it for a day trip.

Went with my wife, and we both LOVED it. The views driving into Saint Emilion—epic. Tour guide answered every question, even the weird ones about barrels lol. Got to try three different wines, each one better than the last (or maybe that’s just how wine works). Town is super photogenic but you can’t take pics inside one of the old cellars, so heads up. All in all, unforgettable afternoon.

Me and my dad did the afternoon tour and honestly it was the highlight of our trip! The guide, Regis, was so full of stories and made the drive fly by. Loved the little vineyard—family run, no big crowds. I learned more about wine in 2 hours than my last 10 years of drinking it. Try the bread they serve with the tasting, it’s sooo good. A bit warm in the van but that’s August for ya.

Group was a mix of couples and solo folks, so I didn’t feel weird coming alone. Saint Emilion is GORGEOUS, especially the church (go inside if you can). Tour was in English and French, guide switched between both so smoothly. The only thing that bugged me was the crowds in the town center—felt a bit touristy. Still, worth the trip for the wine and the views.
