About Roe & Co Distillery
Roe and Co is where old Dublin whiskey legends meet modern ideas. The original distillery once covered 17 acres, closed in 1926, and now returns as a polished, hands on space for premium blending.
The Roe and Co bottle label shows St. Patrick’s Tower, the old windmill from the original distillery, easily recognized by its striking copper topped roof.
A pear tree from the old George Roe and Co distillery still grows on the new grounds, and its legacy inspired the design of the Roe and Co logo.
One of the pot stills once produced Tanqueray Gin and includes a second reflux bowl, a rare feature that gives their whiskey an unusually refined character.
Spirits made from different fermentation recipes are combined in a massive 15,000 liter vat, creating the signature fresh and fruity character Roe and Co is known for.
Because of city fire safety rules, the whiskey matures in warehouses located outside Dublin, where the barrels can be stored safely for long aging.

Main Entrance (James’s Street)
Roe and Co Distillery’s main entrance is at 92 James’s Street, Dublin. Visitors check in here before tours or experiences. The entrance is wheelchair and guide dog friendly, making it easy and comfortable for all guests to enter.
- Regular hours: Roe and Co Distillery experiences run Sunday to Wednesday from 12pm to 5pm, Thursday until 6pm, and Friday and Saturday until 7pm, giving plenty of time to enjoy tours and tastings.
- Bar hours: The Powerhouse Bar is open Sunday to Wednesday from 12pm to 7pm, Thursday until 8pm, and Friday and Saturday until 9pm, perfect for relaxing with cocktails or whiskey after your visit.
A gift shop is available onsite, offering Roe & Co whiskey, exclusive bottlings, and branded merchandise.
The Power House Bar serves signature Roe & Co cocktails and snacks after your tour or workshop.
Toilets are available for guests throughout the venue, including accessible facilities.
First aid assistance is available; please speak to a staff member if needed.
An information desk is located at the entrance for guest queries and assistance.
The distillery is fully wheelchair accessible, with step-free access and elevators to all levels.
