Echipajul a fost foarte util. Chiar și fără a colecta brățara pentru biciclete, au organizat-o pentru noi. Așa că am putut în continuare să descoperim frumoasa insulă pe biciclete. Desigur, unul dintre punctele culminante și motivele venirii aici sunt Quoakkas, și nu am plecat fără un egoist. Cu siguranță merită călătoria.

Plimbarea cu barca peste ocean a fost un pic dură, dar odată ajunși acolo, totul a fost uitat, deoarece am plecat pe bicicletă în soare! Insula a fost super ușor de parcurs. Tot personalul pe care l-am întâlnit a fost prietenos și de ajutor atunci când am pus întrebări.

Mi-a plăcut foarte mult călătoria cu feribotul până la insulă și înapoi. Căpitanul a fost grozav, arătându-ne delfinii pe care îi puteam vedea cu toții și făcând o serie de glume. You can see spots like Bathurst Lighthouse and Pinky Beach as the ferry approaches the island.
Cycle, explore, and marvel at Rottnest Island's wonders
Upon your arrival, pick up your bike and helmet and set off on your cycling adventure. Choose from three scenic routes tailored to your pace and curiosity. The Rotto Mini-Loop offers a breezy 4 km ride through tranquil bushland, past The Basin’s crystal-clear waters and serene salt lakes, with a stop at Vlamingh Lookout for sweeping island views. The 10 km Beaches, Lighthouses, and Lakes route guides you along stunning bays like Little Salmon Bay and Porpoise Bay, culminating in a climb up Wadjemup Lighthouse for panoramic vistas. For seasoned explorers, the 22 km Island Ride showcases the island’s most rugged and remote wonders. Pedal to the West End, where Cathedral Rocks and Cape Vlamingh provide breathtaking views of long-nosed fur seals, Australian sea lions, and even bottlenose dolphins or migrating humpback whales from August to December.

Guide dogs are allowed onboard the ferry. However, as Rottnest Island is an A-Class reserve you should contact the rangers there for further advice on service dog allowance.

All passengers must arrive at the terminal at least 30 minutes prior to departure. If you are traveling with no luggage or freight and have e-tickets or QR codes, please make your way straight to the boarding gate. Final Boarding is 5 minutes prior to departure after which the vessel gangways are removed to ensure that the vessel departs by the stated time.

Bicycles must be collected on the island by an adult over 18 years and must be returned by closing time on the same day.
