Our first attempt to get on the bus at stop 13 was denied 3 times. The driver wouldn't open the door. You were clearly oversold for that time of day yet accepted our order around the same time. A suggestion is to advise anyone placing an order be notified of which stoppa were heavy. Other companies were picking up people at the same spot without issue.

The staff were very helpful and there were no issues with staff. However I choose big bus as the company stated that buses were every 20-30 mins ect. However this was not the case. We were waiting for much longer periods compared to the cheaper companies who appeared to have a better service. I would never book with the company again. Paying the extra was a waste of money. I would not recommend to friends or family

It was not BIG Bus fault. The traffic was simply AWFUL, spent ages in jams, so got off and went to The Science Museum instead!!! Took underground to Tower Hill, costing £28.00 for 4, as on schedule, traffic jams would mean missing the boat trip. Commentator on boat was Excellent.

The problem was that the traffic came to a complete standstill. Two stops in an hour is unbearable and we had to get off the bus in between. Sure, it's not their fault, but unfortunately it was our problem. Walking was difficult but 5x faster. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow, otherwise it was a waste of money. Sorry for that.

The HOHO tour was the worst one we have done, after doing many across various cities around the world. Spent more time waiting at bus stops for driver changes and issues that needed bus changes (to much fog on the windscreen, SERIOUSLY), then told to change bus that then took a detour and went back to where we had started (an hour wasted). Also, the information on the headsets told us very little about the sights we could see and the staff were rude and didnt want to help us at all.

What a huge disappointment, one of the busses broke down and we were left in sweltering heat on the bus until a replacement could be called. For the exorbitant cost I would recommend using public transport to get to the destinations you would like to see rather than take a hop on hop off bus. Definitely a less than ideal experience.

Nothing. It was hopelessly slow. At busy times of year I would not recommend to anyone that they use the Big Bus. Better and cheaper to get a day Tube pass and travel to stations near attractions you want to visit. There is now just too much traffic in London at busy times like today to make the Big Bus a worthwhile option. We spent long periods going nowhere and the route was changed so we missed some attractions, for example the Blue riute not go to Marble Arch. A terrble day.

The bus was stuck in traffic. Bicyclists and pedestrians were traveling much faster than we were. It was @ 80 degrees with no cloud cover, so it stifling hot sitting in the sun during our red light to red light tour. Took an hour to get around Hyde Park. Ridiculous as we paid 120$ in advance for tix. When we got to initial pick up spot, employee advised he would have charged us less had we bought the tix in person. Terrible experience from top to bottom, would never recommend. Ended up getting off bus and taking tube back to our hotel.

We waited for a bus for over 1 hour at stop 39 (at which point we gave up and got on public transport, so we don't know how much longer it would have taken). The full Blue route was advertised as taking 3hr50 to complete 1 loop, but took us 3hr30 from stop 15 to stop 39 - roughly half way. We therefore ran out of time after waiting over 1hr at stop 39, so abandoned our Big Bus trip.

Big Bus tour was good but there are many many more buses from other tour companies that pick up passengers while we waited for the Big Bus. We got off at one stop and had to wait one hour for a Big Bus tour bus to come back to pick us up. This prevented us from getting off at stops in the city as we were concerned that we would not be picked up and would not see the remainder of the blue or red route. We thought we had the evening tour included but our tickets printed "does not include night tour".

Ricer trip was great & crew superb, wonderful commentary The Big Bus tour had lots of off route time due to so many toad works around the Museum area & did not go past Buckingham Palace due to road works. At Tower Bridge there were no busses for more than 1/2 hour - staff said all the buses were bunched together. When the bus arrived it was too full to get on so we waited another 10 minutes for the next bus. Meanwhile loads of the other competitors busses went past. It's a lot of money to not provide a regular service, would not recommend Big Bus & would try another company next time

It was very difficult finding some of the stops/pickup locations even after asking several "agents" where they were located. One was busy on his phone and just pointed "over there "& another, also on his phone pointed to a completely different location, both annoyed with being interrupted. This caused us a lot of running around & missing busses. Also the blue bus in particular seemed to cross over one of the bridges multiple times causing us to sit in traffic for long periods of time. I would take cabs next time. Much more efficient and costs less.

hello We arrived in London on the morning of 26.4.2025. We took the blue line but the bus didn'n go to all the streets and stops because some of them were closed due to the MARATHON which took place the day after, on 27.4.2025. At this day all the streets in the center of London were closed with barriers and police officers and we could'nt get to where the cruise left from. Even though we booked the cruise, we were unable to get on it. We were very disappointed and felt we didn't get what we paid for. I expect to receive a refund. Thank you Miriam

We have used Big Bus in many cities, both in US and abroad, and have always loved them. We purchased a two-day pass for London. On BOTH days, we experienced long delays in service in the afternoon, after 3:30 pm! In both instances we sat waiting on the bus for over 1/2 hour without moving! Neither time was any explanation given until we began moving again! I realize in the afternoon you are wrapping up the number of buses you are using in a day, and traffic, etc. can cause delays, but for it to happen two days in a row suggests sheduling problems that you can't blame on the traffic. The second day we missed a dinner reservation. To sit on a bus and not know what it going on is frustrating! We had 3 other hop on-hop off options in London - - on our next rip we will use another company .

This specific bus line, although there are many, seems to have the most stops and covers nearly every inch of the city. The drivers seem to have magical powers to get the bus through the very busy traffic and narrow streets of London. Easily a half day ride perhaps more if you ride the entire main loop. Multiple days if you use it to get on and off at stops.

The headout tickets I purchased should have been valid for 24 hours, as per the advertisement. I specifically purchased the 24 hour ticket so as to cover 1 of the routes early next morning. The BigBus tour operative however advised us that the ticket was only valid for the day (24th December) and that we would need to buy another ticket to access that 1 route, even though we were well within the 24 hour time.

Not a lot, we were asked to exit a bus at 430pm as it was finishing. Then had to wait for "the last bus" to get close to where we needed to go, we ended up having to get off at 5pm even though they were supposed to run until 6pm. We were never told nor did it specify that the river cruise was only valid that first day. Not just within 24hrs. This meant when we went to go the next morning (within the 24hrs) we were not able to as it had expired so were turned away. It really was not a good experience at all. We will not be recommending this to anyone, in fact we will be turning them away.

I loved the routes and all the sights we were taken to and near. It was great how often it was possible to catch a bus. However the commentary could have been improved. It seemed that there was a lot of pop culture trivia (which famous people had lived where or visited, etc) but I would have appreciated more history. We also drove by lots of interesting buildings that we didn't hear anything about. I would have appreciated more overall information about what we were seeing around us--how old buildings were and what they are used for, etc.

I prefer to say what was not good since I have little I loved about it. Please ignore reasons about for dissatisfaction- an option was required but my desired response was not available We had decided to do a complete circuit of the blue line. Buses were overcrowded and guides and drivers paid no attention to available seating. We finally had a good seat at the top of the bus and then when we stopped at a stop we were told we were changing buses. There did not appear to be anything wrong with the bus it just may not have been as full as the guides wanted.. No explanation was given and nothing further was said while we waited for the next bus which was already full and we had to all squeeze on.

A disabled person in an electric wheelchair with a gel battery was not allowed to board the bus, which is why other people from the reservation did not use it either. I received a refund from your partner, but the trip was not successful. Before I bought the tickets, I talked on the chat with you and was told that a person in an electric wheelchair can travel on the bus, I asked exactly, three times, I gave which wheelchair I was talking about. Are there incompetent people on the chat who do not know what they are talking about? Fortunately, I received a refund.

The package we bought was NOT CLEAR AT ALL. And it said the late night tour was included or at least it looked like it. we flew into heathrow on sept 29th. I was terribly disappointed that we were unable to make it to London on Oct 2 for our Big Bus tour. I asked you for a refund on sept 30. I have not heard back and am very unhappy that I have not received a refund for $118.25. i don't have that kind of money to just give away for free? We waited more than 40 minutes for the bus connection in the rain. The bus stop was not clearly identified. We were made to change buses because our bus was no longer functioning. Then the driver left the bus because they were changing drivers and we were left to wait 15 for the new driver. Because of this we never got to the river cruise

This was my third time to London but my first time with my 15 year old so. The first day we took the route and only got off for lunch at the ritz… booked in advance., and a bit of shopping. We made a plan of what to see the following day which was great! Additionally, we bought tickets to see the Tower of London and took the option to have the one way boat ride back. We also did the London Eye on a beautiful day. If it is not, I wouldn't do it. Overall, a fabulous experience.

Open roof bus is great. But audio guide was interrupted and cut-off many, many times. So information was lost, what you saw driving by. Sometimes it was also not clear which house etc. the guide talked about, as we had passed it already or where not there yet. Or the description was too vague. The audio guide is the added benefit compared to driving around the city with the regular much cheaper bus lines. If the audio guide doesn't work properly, the tour is not worth its price.

The overall experience was amazing. The in depth commentary was fantastic we learnt things on nearly every corner. If you have time I'd definitely recommend the blue tour which lasts 3.5 hours but what you take from it is unbelievable. Awesome experience, thank you.

Red line was good. Corny but info-filled narrative was useful. Good number of stops and busses. Crowded but it is busy season. River cruise was great BLUE line suffered multiple issues. Waited 10 minutes at a stop. Bus went right by--never stopped. 10 more minutes and one stopped but didn't let people on. No explanation. Then another one came and didn't stop again. After 30 + minutes, we gave up and got a cab.

being able to cover all the major attractions with flexibility on choosing which one to see and where to get off. different routes (red and blue) help as well in terms of some planning for the sights the river cruise was excellent (with the weather being great as well on the day) One issue that we encountered was that the frequency would vary for the buses and the app at times wasnt that helpful.

The sights of London. However, we noticed that there were no many Red route buses in comparison to the Blue route buses. We had to wait at Hyde Park corner for over 20 minutes for a Red bus, but 4 Blue buses came & went in that time.

The busses were great.....we could find one when needed and the drivers were nice. We did have a beautiful day which made it better. My major complaint was that we could not take the river cruise because when we walked over to the Tower Bridge entrance the worker said we had to wait over an hour because they didn't have a boat since it was out of commission. With only one day to use the ticket, having to wait over an hour was not acceptable. We should be offered a partial refund because of that. We were looking so forward to enjoying the boat ride.

The bus tour was great, it included the main sites to visit and the application with the whole route and stops is very helpful. I'll suggest to find a common stop to connect the 3 routes (green, blue and red) to enjoy a full trip. Also, the cruise for the Thames river was only one way, we thought it was a round trip and that we will return to the same place we started to continue with the hop on hop off route but had to walked some time to go back and start again the route.

We checked in for the first time and the driver simply waived us back and did not direct us to the earphones. We had to figure out the audio system on our own. It was a hot day and the downstairs if our bus was stiffling; once we moved upstairs it was better. Tour was good once we got deleted in; explanations on the audio guide need to be updated now that there is a new monarch in place.

We had a great time on our London hop on hop off tour with Big Bus. The addition is the one way Thames River cruise was a really nice addition although some of the information for this could have been easier to find on the websites. The bus tours were good except that some of the stops near Picadilly were changed because of detours and we didn't know about this until the bus was driving off route according to the map. We ended up getting off and course correcting ourselves. The commentary on the bus is pre recorded which was informative and fine but know that it does repeat some of the facts at different points.

I had a party of 11, tried to book tickets for the entire party, and the website would not allow me to. I had another person on the trip book 5, I booked 6. We both booked at the same time, which was after noon, she was given a discount for the remainder of the day, I was charged full price. I contacted customer support, all they offered to do was to knock 10% off my NEXT trip. I'm leaving town and will not have the opportunity to book another trip.

Appreciate the convenience of ordering online, however it didn't give all the different options of the package - which we found out in-person with the ticketer. Overall the hop-on, hop-off was great for exploring the city. Traffice was a nightmare though and it did take far longer to navigate. There should be signs for children to NOT run on the top deck, and NO tussling. The late afternoon bus challenged our last nerves from a family of kids horseing around and making an inordinate amount of noise.

Due to the demonstrations in support of Palestine, the buses changed all routes. I understand that this is not Bigbus's problem, but Bigbus should have a way to notify new routes through the app to its clients who wait at a bus stop for a long time without any bus passing and without anyone notifying them.

Once we got on the bus all was good, trying to get on was chaos. Joined at Victoria station, first red route bus drove past, not full, a blue route said 'hop on we'll catch it up'. It didn't so we got off at Hyde Park & waited for the next Red route. Reader didn't see our code but kind driver let us on. Route was then very good. We are 77 but fit and English, I was pleased not to be managing as an unfit foreigner.

Nice that we could board from St Pancras. Nice that it is guided (headphones were provided on the bus). Great area red and blue route. Booked in the morning for that day for 24-hour. Turns out to be from 9am-6pm only. Also includes a boat tour. So way too short time for hop on hop off principle. Lots of traffic on the road. Quite expensive for 2x hop on and off in our case.

Bus drivers were very helpful, audio guide has fun commentary. My mother loved the cruise that was included. However, the buses had no air conditioning and it was 32 degrees that weekend. Would recommend installing them. Also, sometimes, buses stopped near the tourist places but not in front of them, so you had to figure out where was the entrance for them. Other than that it was a great way of knowing London in a short amount of time :)

Commentary needs updating. The Queen died 5 months ago, bit of an insult to have her mentioned several times. The commentary also should state the number of the stops as per the information guide, it's not always easy to figure out where you are. Bus stop signage could be better as well. Frequency of buses a bit erratic, although I realise that this is probably due to varying traffic conditions.
