Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Guided Tour

We had a tour with the guide Frederico (Fred). He told a lot during the tour in the Vatican musea and the Sixtin Chapel. He did this with a lot of detail and in between he was also able to make some jokes with the group. We would recommend Frederico as a guide! He surely was great and we had a good time.

Easy booking on the website. On site we had a guide who knew how to show us everything that was important: we had a structured tour, relevant comments.... thank you!

Veronica accompanied us on this visit with expertise and humor, making us curious as we went along the tour of the Vatican Museums. Detailed presentation of the Sistine Chapel, full of anecdotes and art cues, which allowed us, once inside, to fully enjoy the frescoes. The four teenagers with us delighted...and for those who have children of this age know that this is no small thing ;-)

The guide's explanations were very interesting. However, the 2-hour duration seems a little short to me, especially as the sites have to be reached. Which brings it down to 1h30 max.

Our guide was perfect, the group friendly, the monuments, frescoes and paintings incredible, but so crowded ... Naively, I never imagined that the Vatican allowed mass tourism, where security guards herd tourists like cattle, and where the tourists themselves consume fresco, gilding and disposable headphones ... everyone seems embittered. The place loses its magic, even if it remains grandiose and the guide accompanies the visit with a most interesting discourse. This applies to every visit I made to Rome during my stay. So there's not much you can do about it, unless the city limits the number of tourists or you raise the prices of your services, which would be anti-democratic. I'm sorry for this mixed review.

Excellent guide who perfectly took into account the constraints of his group, in particular our 93-year-old mother.

The experience lasts approximately 2 hours. There are a lot of people to enter the Vatican. If you don't enter with a group, you have to wait in a huge and slower line. Also, going with a guide who explains it to you is a great advantage. Ours was Silvia, she was very knowledgeable and appreciative of the art. The Sistine Chapel should have a different type of access control, as many people are crowded at the same time. It is worth it.

Our Guide Vincenzo was fabulous. He was very informative and entertaining, and led us through the entire tour including into the Basilica of St Peter which was our favourite part of the day as it was less crowded.

Gute Organisation, keine Wartezeit beim Eintritt. Wir hatten eine Reiseleitung, die uns begeistert durch das Museum und die Vatikanische Kapelle führte und gute Erklärungen gab. Es konnten aber aufgrund der Zeit, -2,5h-, nur einige Highlights gezeigt werden, uns hat es gereicht. Wer mehr Zeit investieren möchte um alles in Ruhe ansehen zu können, sollte keine Reisegruppe wählen. Man sollte dann mit längeren Wartezeiten für den Eintritt rechnen.

Guides passionnants et passionnés. Ce sont deux visites incontournables et bondées de monde. Sans guide impossible d'en profiter de la même façon et des heures de queue. Seul bémol compliqué de retrouver le bon groupe à l'arc de Constantin car pas de repères entre les différents guides avec les noms des compagnies. Bravo aux guides .

Roberta the guide was very interactive and shaeee great details of the Vatican City. Guided really well and helped us enter the Basilica.

Meet up venue clear and easy to find. The co-ordinators (we didn't get their names) are warm and friendly. Guide Clavdia gave clear instructions and good introduction of the pieces we saw. Good experience.

The lady who guided us through the Vatican is very competent and presented the most important data in an interesting way. She was considerate and an enrichment.
