Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Skip-the-Line Tickets

Our guide (Kate) was exceptional. She was so knowledgeable and knew so much more about everything. I could also tell that she enjoyed her work and truly loved what she does . We enjoyed it immensely.

As far as I understand, I (and others) bought a guided tour in the Vatican museum. But after garden tour no guide appeared, so we had to go alone through the museum.

Great guide who were a great support for us! Queuing went smoothly. But we were several people that showed up at our appointed time and the got information that we needed to come back an hour later. This is not very professional.

Very good organized the entrance and visit by the responsible office. Also, Mr. Ludwig explained perfectly and professionally the tour in the museum and Capella Cixtina.

We selected a 1:45 ticket time. Then the email we recieved said to be at the meeting address 15 minutes early, which was 1:30. When we arrived at the address in the rain, there wasn't actually a meeting point, it was an enterence off the main street with a poster board taped inside the window stating not to enter, but wait outside until your host meets you. Almost appeared to be a scam, but a woman did show up, the said she'd be back a 2 pm. However our tickets were 1:45 and she said they only go in on the hour and half hour... So at 2 pm, were are still late, the by the time we walk up, wait for another couple who was also late, we didn't get in until around 2:30. Then the tour was like herding cattle through an Ikea Store, only one way in, and one way out... 3 hours later the miserable trip was over, and to top it off, the Sistine Chapel itsself was such a dissappointment. No to be fair, some of the murals and painting were very beautiful in the museum, but for the 3 hour shoulder to shoulder unairconditioned cattle drive wasn't worth it. Well and truly worth the visit. Initially bought tickets solely for the sistine chapel, however, museum definitely added a lot of value to the trip. Highlights include the hallway of artistic painted maps of various places around italy and the egyptian, greek and roman artifacts

So glad we booked the 5.30pm slot to avoid the midday crowds and heat, it was such an amazing experience our guide Al was so knowledgable on all aspects, the tour went along at a pace we could appreciate everything around us , no rushing the added bonus was there was just 6 of us, highly recommended, spectacular in sights and history

We were in the Sistine Chapel and the tour of the Vatican Museum. Excellent service with Gaya. The only thing is that at the beginning on the ticket it said that we left at 10:45 and when we arrived at 10:30 another girl told us that it was in the group of 11:00, then we were a little upset because we came quickly to be 15min before and actually we left at 11:00.

I loved the Egyptian section, especially the mummy. I thought that the long hallway with all the ceiling art was actually better than the Sistine Chapel itself.

It was fine, we were well received and nicely taken to the right row and were inside the Vatican Museum in no time😊👍

We didn't understand the guide very well and he walked very quickly. Suddenly we had to park in queue number 3, which was also very long. For the money ....

The meet up point was easy to find and the guide directed us into the correct part of the entrance so we could get in without issues then we parted ways. Great experience to see the Vatican museums.

I loved the anticipation built up to the moment of entering the Chappel. Admiring the articrafts from different ancient civilisations felt like walking through history that sparked my imagination. I would definitely return and live the experience again.

The tour guide was excellent and she shared her knowledge with passion and added a sense of humour along the way. Even though we had to dodge the weather it was a worthwhile experience we will treasure forever.

It mentions audio guide and charges audio guide on your ticket but this is NOT the audio guides available in the museum, which you then need to pay more for.

I had a problem to open the ticket because I couldn't download the app but when I contacted the company they sent the ticket quickly through email

The Vatican was rammed with visitors and was not enjoyable. The audio guide at the castle was impossible to sync with the building.

I loved the gardens, beautiful view of St. Peter's Basilica. Museums also beautiful but too many and the Sistine Chapel I could not view quietly because there were far too many people.

It was well organized. We were guided past the queues and into the building. There is a lot to see in the museum. Almost too much. We can recommend HEAD OUT.

For the inclusions: the Google maps link took us along an itinerary forbidden to tourists. We had to ask passers-by for help and they explained that we had to go around the city to get to the museum. The guided bus tour: it's a shame, though, that the driver wasn't "in tune" with the audio-guide. The place is majestic and we have very fond memories of it. Thank you

The experience was wonderful. We loved the visit to the Vatican gardens. The visit to the museums are impressive portraits of all periods paintings oil paintings sculptures is worth seeing and the Sistine Chapel is beautiful. We hope to repeat the experience again.

Skip the line was a great idea, the tour bus inside the gardens was great and instructive. Visiting the Sistine Chapel was the highlight.

The speed of access for the disabled and the good service. The downside is that there are too many and too few seats to rest.

We (family of 5) were the only people in our tour group and got a special tour tailored to us. Our kids (pre- / teens) and us got a great and unique history lesson. A tour we won't forget!

My only comment that is negative is having to stand outside and wait for the person to come down with the tickets and to follow of her to the Vatican seemed like quite an extra amount of time based on the appt time and telling us to be there 15 minutes early.

Cyndi, the tour guide, had a great knowledge & passion for history & teaching people. I enjoyed the story telling explaining the significance of the art & artefacts. I liked the imagery on the tapestries & the Creation of Adam in the Sistine Chapel. A lot of beauty in one city.

The organization was perfect! We got into the museum without a long wait. The bus tour through the Vatican Gardens was super interesting and worthwhile.

It was impressive to see the works of art in this building and the most impressive was the building itself! What a great job the artists did on the walls and ceilings!!!

The Vatican itself was amazing. “Maze” being the root word. It just goes on and on, up and down stairs, turns and hallways and more stairs till you don't know how you would ever get out, if you could. I thoroughly enjoyed all of it, would recommend that anyone visit it, soak it in, with reverence, curiosity and awe at the artistry, creativity, imagination, skill and effort it took to produce these incredible works, and what they represented to the artists and people. That being said, we signed up for “skip the line”, which it really wasn’t. To be fair, we were not in the longest line, and we got in fairly quickly. But, late comers caught up with our group which slowed us down, and we were merging in with other lines going into the main entry; lines galore. There were untold thousands getting in for tours on the Monday morning we went, and we did not skip any lines. Of course you have to go through the gift shop first before going into the actual Vatican hallways and tourist spots. We got audio guides – handheld phones with no directions for using as a tour guide or instructions on where to start or how to proceed. As with everything else, we eventually figured it out, and were able to enjoy many fabulous exhibits and jaw-dropping art, ancient relics, tributes, history and sculptures. I didn't see nor do I think there was any place to get a bottle of water, or a water fountain or a place to sit down during our 3+ hour trek through the maze of the Catholic church'es world HQ. We must’ve gone through 20 or 30 (40? 50?) different rooms, all with signs near their respective exits showing ‘Capella Sistina’ only two or three rooms more ahead. Turns out, there were probably 20 or more rooms between us and that finishing spot. I think there were many of us who felt fatigued, somewhat deceived, frustrated and trapped after just a couple of hours – ready to leave, and not interested in seeing ten or twenty more rooms (who knows how many more there are?) of more paintings and sculptures with signs that promised the Sistine Chapel was only two or three more rooms ahead, over and over. We were there a little over three hours, and that was without spending much time at any single exhibit. The Sistine Chapel was beyond description; spellbinding and incredible. Everyone there was pushed towards the center, where there were several hundred people already there gaping at the walls and ceiling. Benches lined the walls, but people who were already there filled the room with nowhere to sit. I would’ve given this five stars, but they could’ve really done a better job with setting expectations, how to use the audio guides, and maps of the whole place showing, “you are here” Still, very glad we went, thoroughly enjoyed it, highly recommended, and like any human venture, there's room for improvement, - but perfection isn't here either.

The woman who escorted us for entry was brilliant- really lovely, helpful and knowledgeable, got us in really quickly. It was a great experience in the Vatican and we had a really great day! Thank you so much!!

The main idea was tickets without queues. We got our tickets; however, the line for more than 30 minutes was not expected. The rest is what any ticket offers.

The guide was very friendly and helpful, she was able to show us the main sights and draw attention to details. She explained things calmly so that those of us who are Portuguese could understand her explanation in Spanish. I recommend it.

I perceived the whole thing as mass processing. People are being carried out en masse in carts. I found it frightening at times and I don't want to know what will happen if panic breaks out there... Sometimes I couldn't even look at things in peace because some people were already pushing from behind with their 📷. Maybe it was the special church ⛪️ year...

The tour through the gardens was a wonderful experience and the process was totally uncomplicated. The meeting point is directly to the left of the main entrance to the Vatican Museums and then you just follow the guide. ☺️ Plan enough time for the museum visit itself - we spent 6 hours there 😅 And buying an audio guide is highly recommended, costs 8€ per person and you can listen to information about the halls and exactly the pieces that interest you personally 🤩 you get suitable earphones for this on the bus and can keep them 😉 PS: don't forget to look up, the whole complex has wonderful ceiling designs, e.g. paintings, stucco etc.

Readout tickets for Vatican Museums and Sistine chapels made our trip to Rome a breeze! Our host welcomed us and walked us to the museum entrance, skipping the long build up of lines. Saved us a TON of time.

Picked up the maps at the designated place. Friendly guide who guided us to the right place so we did not have to stand in the long line.

The museum is unique, and at the same time it is quite literally a challenge to negotiate the paths, stairs and crowds.

The tour was nice but the guide dwelled upon some displays way too long. Her heavy Italian accent made it difficult to understand, especially using earphones that kept crackling with a lot of interference from other tours. Otherwise, the experience was nice.

The bus tour was great , the museums and the Sistine Chapal were just chaos . Far too many people , no health and safety rules followed .. Just money grabbing , too many tours .. Have a rethink this was not enjoyable.

Very well organised. Bus tour around the gardens was lovely although we waited half an hour for the trip and ended up being last on the bus, as we have manners unlike others, so ended up right at the back with no view unless we stood up which was a shame. Beautiful architecture and history. I struggled hearing the English clearly from the guide and I understand English was not the first Language but it was difficult to follow some of the history due to this.

Love- lot to see and amazing collections. Not love - how over crowded - have to fight your way through every one, I guess every one is on the same mission, nothing to complain about and there doesn't seem to have any downtime.

For a skip the queue experience. The lovely represetative (Yumna) went above and beyond to support my mother with poor moblity . She arranged another slot and guided us through the busy process of getting into the Vatican museum and acessing a wheelchair. She was patient and kind.

Check in was a blip bit soon sorted out by a lovely and helpful girl. Guide Marco was amazing - his knowledge was rop level and his tolerance of frequent and repetitive questions by one party of the group was a sight to behold. I really hope that he had a few still drinks to rewind after his tour 🙏.

Lots of different Objekts, arts, and ancient stuff from all over the world and from different times in the history. Skulptures, paintings, wall carpets,... Greek, byzant, agypt. We have been there at 8 in the morning on a Tuesday. It was very crowded. You need to calculate at least 1,5 hours if you mostly walk by, more interested people should calculate two or even three hours in the museum. The skip the line ticket was really worth it, almost no waiting time. Audio guide could be booked inside.

The meeting location was confusing. We arranged to meet at a certain time and I was late. Everything started at least 45 minutes late. Beyond that, the girl escorted us to the entrance and there was no problem.

I booked my Vatican tickets through Headout and the experience was smooth and hassle-free. The process was easy, I received my tickets on time, and everything worked perfectly at the entrance. The Vatican itself is breathtaking — especially the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. I really appreciated how Headout made the whole visit stress-free so I could just focus on enjoying this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Highly recommended!

We liked the museum and the Sistine Chapel, of course, but we could have booked the skip the line ticket for less than half the price directly on the official Musei Vaticani website....

The extension with the bus tour of the gardens is highly recommended. It was not clear in which row we should join. luckily there was own staff who guided us to the right row.

We got right in with issues. The Sistine Chapel were our favorite. The hard part was there of course were lots and lots of people and we felt like we were rushed through the chapel.

A lovely and very thoughtful tour! Guide was super knowledgeable and really predicted our needs (built in bathroom and water chances). He also let us know some other recommendations for after the tour. Highly recommend !

The museum and Sistine Chapel were excellent, but the garden bus tour was less enjoyable. Sitting on the right side made it hard to appreciate the scenery, and some were scolded for moving to take photos. While the driver and guide may be bored from repetitive tours, we paid for a good experience and photo opportunities.

Easy to locate ticket pick up. Guide takes you around and into the entrance, through security. Queues were extensive but you get to walk right past them and straight in. Always good in baking heat! Once in, you can explore at your own pace. Very hot inside even with regular fans and air con so recommend taking a handheld fan in with you as it can be a life saver in congested areas if it is busy.

Tour guide was very friendly, explained everything well. Took us straight to the Vatican Museums. We didn't have to wait anywhere. A great experience, as described in the description. But the big drawback is the price. We paid almost twice as much for the service as the admission itself

Of course, some of the exhibits in the museums were the most appealing. But the good organization by Headout also contributed to the success of the experience.

We had to wait in line for half an hour in the sun. And the dress code that only applies to women seems ridiculous to me.

I visited in 1986, 2003 and now! I bought tickets online now, we were there 15 minutes before the scheduled time! It was necessary! There was a huge crowd! It was 36 degrees! It's strange that in other similar huge mass queues they help to make it more bearable! Vatican could at least put up a shade sail at the entrance! The museum is reorganized, the new entrance. I liked it! The art treasures were great to see! Thank you

We bought the tickets with the Host service and we are very happy with Giovanna's assistance. She accompanied us to the entrance of the museum and was providing us with details of the process! Entering the Vatican was an unbelievable experience that I will never forget. It's something where I've seen it on Tv before, watching Christmas mass but I never thought I would actually step foot in it and to be able to do so was incredible!

It was good because you save a lot of time waiting in line and you go straight into the museum! But it doesn't include an audio guide which is very important!

This is only worth buying if you forgot to buy tickets ahead of time. Tickets from the official website are only ~20euro... But you need to buy around 1 week ahead. I bought my tickets from headout the night before because we didn't know we were going until then. So that was convenient but a huge cost increase. The guy only walks you to the gate (as described in the details). Did not feel worth it for the price, unless you couldn't buy tickets online from the Vatican directly (like me).

We were very satisfied. The description of the tickets corresponded exactly to the tour as it was planned. Everything was well organized and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to enter the museum fairly quickly, although we had to wait for 2 latecomers who delayed the group's departure.

Way to many people inside the museum. Walked all the time in queue in the museum due to overcrowded Maybe it's better close to closing hours

This was a very nice tour. Our guide Valerio was very informative and we overall had a great time. The Skip-The-Line line was quite long however it was fast moving and we got in in a matter of minutes. I would highly recommend this!

Perfect queue-cutting ticket. An exceptional visit that makes you more frustrated by so much magnificence. It would take days to contemplate it all. The gardens are magnificent.

The experience itself is great. But there was no audio guide with this ticket so we had to pay extra. The two young girls (the tour guy reps) who handed us our tickets (face value) told us to just cross the road and join a queue couldn't have been any less engaged or helpful if they tried. Overall, these are inflated prices as 3rd parties have bought all the last minute tickets, and not worth the extra money.

The entrance to the museum is very fast, as advertised. But like the rest of the visits in the city, the place is absolutely overcrowded.

the tour of the vatican museum was understandable and good advice. However, I expected to learn more about more parts of the Vatican.

No waiting in line, plus the guide who accompanied us to the entrance (Andrea), was very friendly. Too bad she did not continue on the trip.

We were very enthusiastic about the content and the volume. In the end we got the impression that Dear God does not need people at all, no chapels covered in gold, no marble statues etc, just love for each other. The visit was informative, but the guide did not explain all the marked exhibits. Certainly would be better with a guide, but usually it takes 2 hours - we were 7 hours. And could do more. The mesuen colleagues were nice.

We enjoyed lol the history and all the beautiful exhibits. I don't think we would visit in August again as it was very hot and busy

More crowded than I expected, no tour guide unless you paid extra 7 euros per person to hear one. The artifacts were amazing, just felt like a herd of cattle going through the museum. Would need to go through the museum everyday for 5 days and still not see everything.

The skip the line was good but the lines didn't seem too long on the day that we visited. The guide was helpful in directing us through the lines and through security but it was quite a long process to get the group organised and hand out tickets. Once inside the venue, the experience was great but the audio guide was very limited.

Garden tour was very beautifull, and the museums are wonderfull. Museums are masterpieces by itself. I realy enjoy my visit to the museums.

You run to be at the time according to the ticket, it is not very easy to get to the offices and there you have to wait the half hour they tell you to arrive and the office of this operator very small and very hot ah and no bathrooms, there is no clear communication and the staff is already automated, lack the expected service and all just to take you and leave you in line, did not like, thank you.

Very good welcome from the guide. Great museum, and let's not forget the Sistine Chapel .... it's fabulous. Tip: don't miss St. Peter's Basilica!

The visit met my expectations and if I were to return I would not avoid providing myself with an audio guide or guidebook to better savor the wonders on display. The only flaw I would like to point out is the excessive presence of people in assistance outside the Museum who gave me conflicting directions in some circumstances regarding access to the visit

I ordered and paid for 3 tickets from Headout. I only received 1 ticket by email, which meant that we had to buy 2 more tickets on site. This resulted in additional costs for us. Headout did not even respond to email. Would never book through Headout again.

The venue is magnificent. The exhibits are superb! Very friendly staff! On the other hand, the management of the ticket office is scandalous: the overall price was 205€ for the museum and its chapel... but on our tickets it says 25€ per ticket, i.e. 125€... 80€ taken by the "coupé file" which is useless. No explanations... What's more, a visit to the basilica is free, even though tickets are on sale on the official website!

I liked skipping the line, but besides that I don't understand why it was so expensive when it literally just skipped the line. No tour no nothing I didn't get an audio tour so I have no idea what happened.

The museum is really special! Patrisia, our guide, was constantly telling us about the paintings, sculptures and tapestries we encountered during our visit. I would have liked to have had more time at our disposal, not so fast forward

I had a child become overheated and dizzy from standing in the heat waiting to get in and then it was stuffy and crowded inside the building. Having access to water (water fountains or bottle fill stations) throughout the museum instead of waiting until the cafe by the chapel would have allowed us to take our time in the museum rather than rushing through to get to cafe.

Fast, easy access. The museums were so cool, with amazing historical artefacts, and easy to guide yourself through. Sistine Chapel was a highlight

The crowds were huge, it being August, but it was manageable, and in the afternoon, as we reached the Sistine chapel, it got better and we could sit for some time on the bench by the wall and contemplate the details of the Last Judgment (my highlight) and also the ceiling where I also found a lot of wonderful new detail.

We had got lost and was walking around for an hour trying to find the tour. Found the tour lovely person to greet us, entered and then was left to are own devices I paid for an audio.

The best of all was not having to wait in the long lines to enter the Vatican museum, plus it was 36 degrees today, so all the more reason to be grateful. It was easy to find the place, as it has a big light at the door. The girl who accompanied us in the access to the whole group was very kind.

Booked this experience the night before going as the online tickets for the Vatican were sold out. Make sure if you take Taxi you go to the meeting point and not just the Vatican because they can be far from each other. We booked the 8 AM tickets but it takes about 20 minutes to get the tickets after meeting the guide. Good thing is you're waiting in the office rather than out in the sun. After that you are guided to the entrance and we went right in. Very easy and convenient would totally recommend. Only thing is it might be confusing at the meeting point because there are many other tour guides with flags and you start wondering where you're supposed to go.

Loved that my kids enjoyed seeing the history and the amazing painting. It was busy and packed but it didn't take from the experiance.

Was really cool museum. I liked everything. A bit crowdy at times but it was expected. Really cool veing able to skip the line. Kinda wish you got entry to St Peters square and church afterwards.

I hired it very well, they have been punctual and accompanied us to the entrance, and when I saw the queue to enter and that we have entered directly I flipped, very well. The price that is worth more than just the entrance I think it is well invested, especially if it is the first time.

I truly enjoyed visiting the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. As an archaeologist, seeing the remarkable works of art, especially the intricate wooden panels, monumental statues, and breathtaking frescoes was an unforgettable and inspiring experience.

The system improved that we could avoid queues. The only thing was that we got them a little late and they were either no longer available with a personal guide or they were very expensive.

It's a magnificent museum. Beautiful everywhere. My only regret is that there's no silence in the Sistine Chapel, a sacred place. You lose some of your contemplation.

We were extremely disappointed with our guide. She injected her own philosophy into our tour and made the museum tour horrible. We were happy with the staff and our ability to go through the Sistine chapel on our own.

It was incredible because even with a huge crowd it was very accessible and the visit to the gardens on the bus was beautiful with a very good translator guide! The Vatican Museum is extraordinary because of the grandeur of the whole collection! What a fantastic experience!

Our visit was 2 fold. #1 it was for our son graduating high school. Instead of a party, he wanted to travel. #2 our son became a Catholic at Easter time so this visit was a no brainer. Vatican and see the pope. My wife and I have to the Vatican before and we and we were not happy with our tour, so we tried your company. Tour guide "Kate" was the bomb! She made the tour so much fun and she shared so much knowledge. She set the standard of what every tour should be like.

Tickets booked in advance meant there were no long queues to buy them. The entrance to the museum was crowded, but we were able to get in relatively easily. The audio guide allows you to visit the museum with commentary, while discovering at your own pace, which makes for a very pleasant experience. Well worth a visit.

Headout was good about getting us together, resolving issues quickly, then getting us through security. After that, we were on our own. For the short time we had with them, they took good care of us and did their jobs well.

Very simple and convenient ticketing system. The museum and the bus tour were very nice. The only thing that the entrance to St. Peter's Basilica did not ask us for tickets. We could have entered for free.

Easy entry to the museum, lots of available time slots and a wonderful exhibit - we specially enjoyed the Egyptian exhibit at the beginning, and the Sistine Chapel is of course breathtaking.

The bus ride through the Vatican Gardens was very nice with lots of good information from the audio guide. The museums are interesting, but very extensive and confusing... The Sistine Chapel is super beautiful but unfortunately extremely crowded and noisy. Overall a nice package!

The Vatican is unique. Unfortunately, the delivery of the tickets was poor. Tickets were only sent by email after I asked for them. Before that, the booking confirmation was completely missing, which is completely normal with other providers. We also had to ask around on site for a long time to find out where we needed to contact. The event itself was very nice.

We had a great time at the museum, we went in the evening, so was busy but not as hectic Only thing i found was the sistine chapel, nobody served to care that it was such a religious place, we were told we had to be quiet but the noise in there, I didnt even realise we were in there. It was still gorgeous but I was just expecting a bit more reverence and respect for such a religious place.

The Vatican is magnificent, incredibly rich, you don't know where to look as everything is so beautiful. However, it's far too crowded, which spoils the experience a little, so limiting the number of visitors would be nice.

Done the Vatican museum and Sistine chapel (entry only, not a guided tour). Be prepared for a very long walk from the front of the Vatican to the museum entrance, I wasn't expecting the long distance. There was a queue of 40-50 people in front and the same behind, entry time is strict and don't be late. Once inside everything was easy, lots of walking, lots of steps so wear sensible shoes. Was a good experience

The person we met was very kind and sympathetic, and it was great to have her accompany us to the last SAS entrance. The SIXTINE chapel wasn't all that exceptional, compared with our expectations, but the rest of the museum, with its magnificent ceilings, was much more impressive and memorable.

Slightly chaotic start to the day but our tour guide was clearly very passionate about the content. She was animated and engaging. I would likely do this again.

The tour was excellent 👌 No need to stand in the line, very thoughtful guide and beautiful scenery of the gardens. Loved every single bit of it!

Firstly, there was no child ticket available. Then the tour guide abandoned us at the entrance without explanation or pleasantries, he was just gone. Inside the venue there was no map unless you used your phone which I did not want to do. The Sistine chapel should be as a chapel should and far more controlled. Awful and tacky and loud.

Loved the bus tour and seeing the gardens. The only thing I didn't enjoy was that once you enter the museums there is no way to exit early. There is no a/c and no elevator and no early exit- it is approximately a 2 hour tour so prepare accordingly.

The "Skip The Line" ticket is an absoulte must. Best part is not having to wait in those really LONG and HOT lines. It was also very reasonable. Private tour company's gouge tourists with a price tag of $200-$400+ for tours as by the time I was ready to purchase a tour on a third party app, the costs had skyrocketed to $400+ (not kidding) I do underand that one must pay for the expertise provided by the guides and convenience of skipping the line (they are long in the Summer) is ridiculous especially when friends purchased for $160-$180. Headout made the ticket purchasing and costs very simple and fair. I purchased with Headout at 55 euros and did a self guided tour with the handheld speaker (an extra 8 euro once inside the Vatican, but very worth it) Altlhough I enjoyed the "Skip the line" ticket, it was disappointing to learn that the QR code recevied after purchase is not the actual ticket. The Vatican security guards told me that I woudl have to go into the tour office and get a paper ticket. If that's the case, then what is the point of the QR code? As the entries are timed to control crowds, I only had a 30 minute window to literally run from the Vatican entrance back down to the ticket office (that was tucked away on a side street) to get the paper ticket. Otherwise not be able to enter at all. The workers at the Vatican entry way made sure I understood that. Headout should make it clear when paper tickets are required and that you must go into the local office to pick it up when they are. Also be aware that you can buy tickets to the Vatican directly from the Vatican website for a reasonalble fare. I had to go through a third party as they were sold out on the Vatican site on the days that I was visiting. Thanks Headout for having a ticket for a reasonable price.

The Sistine Chapel is a room in the museum, and therefore not accessible except by walking through it. The museum itself is organized like an IKEA store, so you feel trapped. It's hard to get the most out of the museum, with so many people wanting to see only the Sistine Chapel. Maybe do it out of season.

Being able to skip the line was wonderful because it was very packed during the day, the guides were very nice and helpful to get to know the direction

It was immense and beautiful. Lots of Roman e and Greek statues. It was very crowded because of many group tours and the heat but there were no fans. There was an awful lot to see and it was easy to scan in your ticket and walk on past the long line

Great experience, would recommend the fast track, the que's were so long but we got in straight away, if going in summer go early in the morning, it was extremely hot and extremely busy.

This past week, we had the privilege of visiting the Vatican. We started with a open airbus tour of the gardens (which I highly recommend) continued through the many rooms of the museum, went to the Sistine chapel and ended with Saint Peter's Basilica. It was an incredible and extremely memorable visit. The Sistine chapel is truly breathtaking. We were lucky to grab a seat at the edge of the room and just take it all in. The museum itself was beautiful and so vast. There was so much to see. My advice is to eat a good meal, drink lots of water and prepare yourself for a long and very busy visit. I would 100% do it again.

It was a great experoence and totally Recomended. Our guide helped us solved a problem we came across with one of our tickets that had the incorrect name.

Thank you because we already had little time and with you we cleared the line which as always at the Vatican museums was very long and then with the heat it would have been exhausting. The guide was really very kind and knowledgeable. He accompanied us all the way to the entrance giving us many useful tips for the continuation of the visit. It was very hot and being able to get in without having to wait in line made a big difference. The guides are friendly and everything is well organized. I loved it and recommend it!

Super organized, everything went very quickly, no queuing etc. We really enjoyed the bus tour (30 minutes) and it was a good change from what felt like a 3-hour tour inside.
