4th visit to the Borghese Gallery. Always sublime. Too bad my husband and I had separate tickets. Me at 12pm and him at 1pm. Impossible to change on the spot to be together. Very practical to have the ticket sent by e-mail on the day. Easy to open. We can easily find our tickets. Bravo

The ticket location information was misleading. We arrived early, as instructed, following the advertised guidance to be at the scheduled location 15 minutes prior. However, the event coordinators were actually stationed at a different location than what was indicated. By the time we found the representative, she rushed me, saying I had only 10 minutes to enter the building. There was no escort provided—just a ticket handed to me. To make matters worse, tickets were available for a lower price on-site. Overall The gallery was beautiful to see!

I purchased a ticket back in June and immediately notified you that the date was wrong. Despite this, my request was ignored, showing complete disregard for the customer. As a result, I suffered a direct financial loss due to your negligence. I will never purchase anything from Headout again and, if it depends on me, I will make sure to expose and further damage your already fragile reputation. A company that refuses to listen to its customers and fails to fix such a basic issue does not deserve anyone’s trust.

Nothing at all. As I couldn't find my guide, I bought another ticket on the spot to get in, as the one I bought with your 50-euro app wouldn't even let me in. I finally heard from your guide 30 minutes after the start time ar watsapp! I told her I was already inside with another ticket, but she didn't see fit to meet me. I had to buy another ticket to get back, because the one I had was already inside. I hope that you will refund my credit card, otherwise I will have to stop the transaction with my bank. Thank you

The 'audio guide is set to a program that does not correspond to the real thing, there is difficulty in searching for some works, especially in the picture gallery, because they are physically missing! So a person doesn't really know what to listen to since one doesn't get his head around numbers and explanation. At the audioguide desk somewhat distracted staff who mostly stay on the phone and receive you after a while, not the best of professionalism

When we arrived ON TIME at the gallery we found the representative with Once Upon a Time. Unfortunately they didn't have any record of our tickets. They contacted their office and were told that they never received the vouchers from Headout. At this point all of the tickets were sold out and we were unable to take the tour. The representative from Headout called their office and we were told we would receive a full refund. I emailed Headout 2 days later to inquire about the status of our refund and they responded that we were a NO SHOW and would therefore not receive a refund. I feel that we were very understanding considering we were unable to visit the Gallery but to not receive a refund is unacceptable. Please work this out and refund us the full amount. Earl Bates

Bought through Headout after tickets were no longer availabe through the museum directly. Paid a couple of euros extra per ticket, but got value for that--a local expert handed us our tickets (no line) and told us where things were. The gallery has an amazing collection, but could use better and more comprehensive descriptions of the collection. Bought the audio guide, but found a number of pieces described weren't on display.

At the ticket office in Galeria Barberini, the employee informed me that my ticket was also valid for Galeria Corsinni. I went there and was not allowed in even though it was empty. The ticket agent even called Galeria Barberini and received a reply that the ticket was not valid. I am therefore dissatisfied with this treatment of customers.

The Borgese Gallery and Gardens were spectacular!! We loved everything about our experiences there. I would go again and recomend others going. The only negative was out Headout experience. I purchased our tickets weeks ahead online. Several days later I recieved an email our"guide" was not available for the 8am booking so they changed our booking to 2pm. No worries. We arrive and our tickets are scanned. We are told they do not exist, go to the services desk. We go to the service desk, they scan the tickets and say they do not exist. They look over their paper work and do not see our names. I was hearing, while we waited in lines and at the cafe, that the day was sold out. The service counter offered us tickets for 5pm. We accepted and rebought the tickets. Shortly thereafter my phone was out of battery so I did not even try to contact headout. When we returned home from vacation a few days later we recived and email crediting us for the tickets. Thank you Headout!

The ticket reservation system at the gallery changed 6 months ago and you have not updated your system. The gallery refused entry and if a very kind person from another agent hadn't helped, my wife would not have got in (all be it nearly an hour late). You needed to email the actual ticket, not a ref number. Other people had the same problem and never got in! This needs to be sorted. You are ruining people's holidays 😒

See the Bernini sculptures was a lifetime experience. It's remarkable to think he could carve such thin, delicate elements with rudimentary tools. They also had numerous Ruben's, da Vinci's, and a wide variety of other artist and subject maters. We were given a two hour time slot which was barely adequate, but doable. Get tickets in advance...way in advance even in winter. Well worth a visit!

We bought our tickets to the Borghese Gallery online through Headout which partners with Crown Tours locally (I only realized when we had to meet up with our tour guide, but it was actually included in the instruction email but easily overlooked). This was the first time we had actually done a guided tour in a museum as our son is a big fan of Caravaggio. Our tour guide Bianca made the experience truly memorable. She was obviously passionate about art, highlighting the central pieces in each room by sharing the history and noting details that we would have otherwise missed. Our son was very engaged and really loved the little stories she shared about each artist. There was also enough time to explore the museum on our own to take more photos which we were concerned about originally. Highly recommend the Borghese Gallery and Crown Tours.

Muy rápido de reservar aunque sea una empresa externa al museo. Las entradas hay que recogerlas en la entrada del museo (en la misma villa Borghese) a una persona que lleva un cartelito en la mano. Enseñas tu reserva on-line , te busca en su listado y te da las entradas reservadas. A la entrada del museo, sin colas, te dan la opción de coger una audioguía. Nosotros la cogimos (5€ cada una). Una lástima que por cada sala del museo sólo hubiera una o dos explicaciones de cuadros o esculturas. Debería ser una audioguía más completa, lo explicado está muy bien contextualizado pero hay muchas obras sin explicación. El museo vale mucho la pena de ver, visita imprescindible. Cada sala es una maravilla a cuál más hermosa. La visita la teníamos a las 17h y a las 18:40h empiezan a recordar que el museo cierra a las 19h. Nos quedaron por ver/escuchar un par de obras, no pudimos acabar de ver. Mi recomendación es comger la visita por la mañana para que dé tiempo de verlo todo.

But, if I find it in bad taste that the second floor of the gallery is closed for remodeling and you have to pay an additional 5 euros to see the rest, totaling 40 euros. The works (sculptures, paintings) are magnificent, a real feast for the eyes, very varied and masterfully executed. We were in awe of each work. We'd also like to point out that the ceilings and walls of the BORGHESE museum are decorated with huge, fabulous frescoes. We can't recommend this visit enough: time stands still as we become absorbed in the fascinating world of art.

The first time we booked in November 2023 for 4 tickets and two weeks later we received an email from Headout telling us that our reservations were cancelled even though we had already paid, and announcing that we would be refunded! Always suggestive of a visit to the gallery Personally, I would only have arranged the two Titian paintings, placed high up and mirrored in the last room (there was a setup of a Rubens painting in front) in a more visible and illuminated way. A pity to have to look for a small glimpse in order to "only "marginally admire them. it was a wet and rainy day, so I arrived a little bit late to the Borghesi. I was unable to find the contact person initially, and the staff at the Borghese were a little befuddled as to how to help me. I tried calling the number which didn't work, and I had a hard time getting onto the Internet inside of the museum. All of this is just to say that it was a little bit of a rough start by then the staff at the Borghese had noticed that the contact person was inside the museum, and the rest went fairly smooth , I do wish that I would have ordered a ticket that included a regular guided tour

I got there a bit late as I had trouble finding the Gallery so the group had already left the meeting point. The meeting point was difficult to find, and a map given with the booking confirmation would be welcome. Next, it's important to realize that this is mass treatment: we're herded to the group entrance, where we have to wait again because there are so many groups present (we were in October). To top it off one of the museum guards gave us a charming and informative chat about Raphael's famous painting, and some Carravagio tips as well. The collections are superb: sculptures and Paintings from the 15th and 16th centuries. Par contre les jardins étaient fermés. Quand je reviendrai, je retournerai à la Villa Borghese.

The artwork is nothing short of fabulous. The organization a little less so: a. It is unthinkable that only 1 person is in charge of tickets: the line was miles long, with a thousand hiccups b. Why do you sell tickets to tour operators instead of on the regular site? This also causes you to flood the ticket office with the conversion of reservations into tickets. By the way, why not make the reservation suffice, since everything is already paid for?

Good purchasing experience. Tickets for the Borghese Gallery were available the next day, even though the official website had sold out. Hand-delivered by the local service provider, easily located at the entrance to the site. I am, however, disappointed by the principle of reselling €29 tickets worth €15. It creates a parallel market for those like me who haven't planned ahead and can afford to pay, and ultimately encourages players to block tickets in order to resell them at a higher price. It's unhealthy.

I liked the museum a lot. What I didn't like is that my ticket costed double the price. I received my two tickets from a lady with whom I had to meet before the entrance and found out that each ticket costs €16,-, so €32,- in total. The same tickets online costed me €64,-. I think this is quite unfair and in a way robbery.

Excellent gallery to visit and you need to book in advance. Bought ticket online through headout, showed the online ticket as directed by the instructions which was converted into a entry ticket there. The entry allows 2 hours which I thought was more than enough time. Also had something to eat in the cafeteria down stairs after exiting. I had a look in the bookshop before hand which helped me with my visit.

I have been to the Borghese multiple times it never fails to awe one if you love art. The head out ticket buying experience was easy. Something you could do for people who click on your site is inform them that at this time Borghese is booked solid for 3 weeks ahead. Also you give a somewhat ambiguous map on where to pick up your tickets. I think it is out of date. During Covid and as late as March this year there was a trailer outside the actual gallery where the tickets were sold. That trailer is gone and now It is the Borghese Ticket office. Just say to your customers you pick up your tickets in the museum ticket office with these codes.

The villa Borghese is a must-see and we were very happy to have tickets, as they were sold out for the following week. However, the ticket is at 14€ pp and we paid more than 20€ pp. I get that these companies have to make a living, but the service consisted in two hostesses giving out tickets. They did not explain anything or escorted us or anything else. It is a bit too expensive for this kind of service...

Booked a last minute trip and couldn't get tickets anywhere. While we were at our destination, I took a look on my phone and tickets were available the following day. To be honest we hadn't heard of Headout before so we're a bit wary of trying to book on a mobile connection abroad as (at 65) the eyes aren't as good as they used to be but decided to risk it. We needn't have worried. The booking process was quick and easy. The tickets were emailed to us immediately with full joining instructions. You didn't help us retrieve our reservations from my (other) phone after my wife's phone was stolen. You charged us twice for visits to the Villa Borghese and the Colosseum. It was impossible to resolve this situation with your site. We spent hours there, paid telephone charges and had to pay again on the spot for the visit to the Colosseum. Very bad memories.... Nuestra experiencia visitando la Galería Borghese ha sido buena, la Galería tiene obras maravillosas, aunque hemos "perdido" un monedero en la cafetería y no ha sido posible encontrarlo. La experiencia con headout no es tan buena pues habíamos hecho la reserva con tres meses de antelación y a pocos días de la visita nos cambiaron los horarios, con el trastorno que eso lleva de cambio de planes en una visita de cuatro días.

The only reason I rated it good instead of awesome was that the meeting instructions said left hand staircase and the person would be wearing a purple T-shirt ( I think). She had a purple flag and was by the right stair. However we had no difficulty finding her. She gave us clear instructions and it was an "awesome " experience. Nous n'avions pas compris que le lieu de rdv de l'Agent Headout se situait en bas à droite des escaliers de l'entrée principale du Musée (le site mentionne une Place et un n° ?) mais au final nous l'avons trouvé assez facilement. La commission n'était pas négligeable mais nous ne regrettons pas notre achat car au jour de notre réservation il ne restait plus de billets achetables directement auprès du musée, or les locaux et les oeuvres exposées sont vraiment superbes.

The Borghese Gallery is such a beautiful place, it's one of the most famous art galleries in the world. It's very organized because people are allowed to be there only 2 hours so the place doesn't get crowded. Aus dem Angebot war nicht ersichtlich, dass der Gastgeber keine Führung zum vereinbarten Preis anbietet. Einen Hinweis auf das Audioguide-Angebot haben wir nicht erhalten. Stattdessen wurden wir im Schnellabfertigungsmodus zum Drehkreuz begleitet, eingelassen und konnten danach nicht mehr zurück zum Audioguideverleih. Es scheint, dass hier jemand mithilfe der beschränkten Besucherzahl eine gute Provision ohne viel Aufwand und mit ziemlich irreführenden Leistungsversprechungen verdient. Das ist angesichts des ansonsten phantastischen Musums leider nur penibel und der Ausstellungsqualität unwürdig.

I just felt that it was not good value for the extra fee. If I had booked directly with the Burgese Gallery I would not have had to wait, and would have received my ticket earlier. There was hardly any queue at the ticket entrance for the gallery, but I had to queue to receive my ticket from the headout rep. (despite arriving early and being there before others) It wasn't skip the line or priority access at all. It would be simple for headout to arrange for their reps to be there a few minutes Before the participants and encourage a queue from there.

Pour la villa tout était OK le guide nous attendait la visite était top .Pour le colisee quand nous sommes arrivés vers les prestataires crown tour les t shirt violets.notre visite prévue à 13h30 avait été annulée et déplacée a15h sans nous prévenir .Pas d'explication sauf " c'est comme ça " pas sympa et pas très sérieux. C'est à voir absolument. Concernant l'organisation : prévue sans guide, le rdv nous a été fixé à 17 h. Finalement, nous aurions pu commencer la visite avant cette heure. Bref, nous avons "patienté" pendant plus d'1 heure. Concernant le musée, ce serait bien que le numéro des salles soit indiqué à leur entrée, afin de concorder avec les uméros figurant sur l'audio-guide. L'hôtesse d'accueil ne parlait pas un mot de français, donc rien que pour louer un audio guide (non compris dans le forfait réservation) ça a été "un peu" hard. Mais je confirme, la villa Borghèse est d'une richesse artistique qui la rend incontournable quand on va à Rome, sans oublier le parc.

The gallery is bar none the best collection in Roma. It is a must. Sold out the day we went, so get tickets ahead of time for sure. They will let you enter 10 minutes ahead of your time. Book first or last tour and crowds will be much thinner. Walk the gardens around the gallery before or after tour. Look at exquisite faux marble in side galleries. Don't get sick from so much eye candy!

Would be handy if each painting had a brief description of what it was about. Some of the staff were excellent and some were quite rude. Some of the staff in the museum looked bored out of their heads and totally disinterested - one even looked like she was asleep. We paid 35 euros for some food and drink and were not allowed in the restaurant seating area which was empty. All other seats were taken and we were told we had to stand to eat and drink. A table was vacated and we sat there after having to clear it ourselves. Not impressed. Museum itself is fine bur a bit overared

The experience was fine, we just weren't really satisfied with the prices. We booked our tickets and paid 46€ for two people. We were really surprised to see that our tickets actually only cost 30€ in de venue. On top of that, any sort of audio guide was another 10€. Nobody in the venue could help us understand why we had paid 16€ more than the tickets were worth, nor could they give us an audio tour for free. All in all it was a quite expensive experience that we were not sure was worth it.

It is a really nice place and a must see while in Rome. The villa, the museum, the gardens, impressive. We had some issues getting there in time, as the information on getting there from the email we received from Headout was incorrect. It takes 20 min walk from the Flaminio Metro station, the closest, and not 5 minutes, as mentioned. Because of that we arrived late. The instructions to get there could be better.

Er waren problemen met de verkregen codes. Allereerst moet je de codes omwisselen voor een ticket met barcode, geefdan ee ticket met barcode, moet je nog 15min in de rij staan. Everything was organized very well with no croud inside which gives you a chance to walk in your personal rithm and to see all the unique art from a distance and to have a close look too. There are no queues outside and you get in right at the entrance time on your ticket. The paintings and sculptures are beautifully arranged. The collections are one of a kind with great exibits. lQuand on nous demande de laisser son sac au vestiairre, il faudrait dire aussi de prendre une pièce d'identité qui est demandé au passage lorsque l'on présente le billet, ce qui nécessite de remonter la chercher, expliquer que l'on ne reprends pas le sac, mais juste un document, quand on ne parle pas italien ! et refaire la queue !

Abbiamo lasciato le borse al guardaroba nel piccolo edificio a sinistra dell'ingresso e, con 5 € a persona abbiamo affittato le audioguide. Quand nous sommes arrives à la Villa Borghèse, la billetterie était ouverte et nous avons demandé si nous pouvions entrer plus rapidement car nous avions un avion à prendre le soir. La personne m'a répondu que c'était possible à condition d'avoir acheté mon billet à la billetterie. Puis par curiosité, je suis retourné voir le coût des billets à la billetterie. Il n'était que de 15€ alors qu'il était de 24€ par Internet. Nous avons bien apprécié la visite de la Villa mais cette histoire de prix de vente nous est resté sur l'estomac.

The experience at the Gallery was first rate. The experience getting the ticket from Headout somewhat less so. First, the confirmation e-mail sent when I booked said that I would receive the ticket within 30 minutes. 15 hours later I still hadn't received it so I sent an e-mail inquiring about it. I had no response from Headout. However, I did go back on the booking website and found the ticket available there. So, bad information from Headout, and bad customer service/response when there was a problem. Second, when I printed out the ticket, the ticket said the price was 13 Euros, with a 2 Euro fee. I paid 21 Euros booking through Headout. So, I would say rating this "average" is almost generous!

We had time to visit both levels, specially the pinacotheque where our previous tour had been too short. Unlike the Uffizzi which we also visited on this trip to Italy, the Borghese spaced out its visitors so that they could view the art and not feel comfortable in an overcrowded environment. Hola. Nuestra experiencia en la Galeria Borghese ha sido muy buena, tanto a la hora de obtener las entradas online como en la propia visita. El acceso a la galería en nuestro turno estuvo muy bien organizado y las personas que nos fueron guiando para entrar fueron muy amables. Dentro de la galería todo muy bien. El único problema el acceso para las personas mayores. Parece que solo hay un tramo de escalera pero en realidad son varios. Sólo subió mi madre en ascensor y mi padre que tiene 81 años llegó muy fatigado al piso superior. Se debería aconsejar a las personas mayores, que aunque de aspecto físico estén bien, que subieran en ascensor para evistarles un esfuerzo innecesario. Y más teniendo en cuenta que actualmente hay que llevar mascarilla. Por lo demás, todo muy bien. Lo recomiendo como visita obligada en Roma. El edificio es muy bonito y está muy bien conservado. Y la colección de escultura y pintura es bastante buena. Gracias.

It was a little bit confusing to get the information about where to collect the tickets. I was convinced that the tickets for Galleria Borghese are to be collected at the ticket office. But that is not the case. The woman at the ticket office said they had nothing to do with it and she referref to the tour operator. Than I asked the employees at the entrance to the gallery and they referred me to the right person, who was standing at one of the statues in the courtyard. Well, everything from then on went smoothly, but I have to say it is a little bit unprofessional to 'walk' the customers around to the right person in charge. Secondly, Galleria Borghese has a strict schedule and you have to leave all your luggage at the cloakroom where you can encounter long queues which takes time. You should inform the visitors to arrive early enough to ger ready for the Galleria and give better information about collecting the tickets.

It was not clear through the booking sight what the difference would have been if we had scheduled a guided tour compared to what we did (evidently, we were just getting entrance tickets which I could have done through the Gallery itself and then I could have gotten an audio tour). the staff at the site were really rushed when we got there and just handed us our tickets without any greetings or making us feel welcomed or oriented at all. I would have liked to have been able to ask some questions and see if I could have upgraded to a tour.

Before entering, they made us queue in the burning sun (37C) twice. Once for the bag check and then to get into the museum. When people tried to escape to the shade, next to the building, the personal ordered us to move away, because people (of which there were none) needed to exit. You need to provide shade for the people waiting, especially in the summer.

No me llegaron las entradas por correo y, al llegar al museo, la encargada de repartir entradas no tenía mi nombre en la lista. Después de algunos malentendidos con la biglietteria del museo tuvimos que llamar a atención al cliente y nos mandaron inmediatamente la entradas al correo y pudimos entrar. En el papel en el que constaba el número de reserva se decía que las entradas se podian recoger en la biglietteria. Esto creó conusión y se debería de poder solucionar. Gracias

Colosseum: you can access via the normal entree. You get an orange sticker, this way you can access the arena floor (not souterrain) at the beginning of the tour. Forum Romanum: this is a large area, we spent 5 hours here. There are a lot of hills, little shadow. With this ticket, you can access about three houses which are not included with a normal ticket.

Booking through Headout was great. The logistics at Galleria Borghese, however, we’re seriously bad! This is in terms of exchanging the booking confirmation for a ticket (first long queue), then separately adding an audio guide (next queue), then going to the women’s loos (queue of 20 mins where several men(??!!) were given priority over using the women’s loos, followed by actually getting to the entrance in about 10 mins before the start (small miracle) only to be told by an official (who waited until after the start time despite it being obvious to her) that we needed to head back downstairs to queue up again for the next 15 mins to put our (small) handbags in storage. I’m sure I’m missing another long queue (there was of course a long one afterwards to get a coffee in the gallery cafe) and a bizarre route that was given to us to get from the first floor to the second floor of the gallery which involved leaving the gallery altogether, heading DOWN some external steps only to then head back up a set of internal stairs that connected with the first floor. I’m only writing this out of frustration and because I’d be highly surprised if the galley asked for feedback.
