I have visited with my kid some very nice zoos in Prague, Viena and Budapest and liked them much more vs. Barcelona. Many cages in Barcelona zoo were empty and a part was under reconstruction

Very good aquarium. One of the best we have been to. Decent price for an aquarium (they are never cheap). Reasonable cafe.

This was beyond our expectations, we absolutely loved it! It was great to see so many animals plus playgrounds for the kids as well. A shame that a few animals weren't out but that didn't take away from the enjoyment of it all.
Our daughter is autistic and we weren't sure how she would react to it but she loved it as much as we did. She absolutely adored the seals and could have sat there for ages watching them.
One thing I will say is that it would be nice to have more sensory toys in the gift shop
