We had tickets for 10:30a at Tower of London. I dislike any sort of line that lasts longer than 2 minutes, and this one was MASSIVE. I almost left but decided to give it a 5 minute chance and WOW. I was extremely impressed with how fast and efficient the staff processed the queue. Friendly staff. Great exhibits. Big fan of the ravens perched out at multiple stairways. Highly recommended. We started to get some rain, which I feel like positively affected our queue for the London Eye. The website advises to expect a 45ish minute queue and it had to have been less than 15 minutes. I appreciate that the Eye does not stop at each cart to let people on and off, keeping things moving.

So glad we pre-booked our tickets to the Tower of London and especially the fast track tickets for the London Eye. If you want to do the Eye, this is the best way to go. Don't just turn up and book on the day - you'll be standing in a queue for ages. We pretty much got straight in.

We were going to the Tower of London and the London Eye anyway, was good to get a 5% discount on the tickets. We were through the queue quickly at the Eye as we'd booked an early slot (10:30) it was good, not too crowded in our pod. We spent 4 hours at the Tower, and could've stayed longer if they'd not been closing. A fantastic day out visiting the Crown Jewels and listening to the Yeomen Warder tour. The poppies on display were a bonus too

Good value, it was great to have the two activities booked so easily. The tower of London was outstanding but beware we had to pay extra for the audio guide, but it was worth the few pounds extra. On the London eye, it was amazing but there were a few too many people in our pod. Tip get a place at the window at the end of the pod, If you sit on the bench your view gets blocked.

The Tower of London is a real tour! Starting with the Walls and then going into each tower which has its own history, the inside of the courtyard, the Crown Jewels and the ravens. All wonderful! The combination is a winner because the two national monuments are close together and there is no need to walk far to reach either. A Tower of London requires in our opinion at least half a day, the things to see are many and all very interesting. The staff is always very helpful and the Tower guards very nice, there are also volunteers here to approach for any information, recognizable by the orange tunic. The Tower Bridge surprised us with the scenic walkway and the engine room's overview of the old but incredible solutions used until 1976 to raise the bulkheads. All perfectly preserved! In short, a must see!

We took the bus tour as a way of visiting London with friends visiting from Slovakia We liked the choice of routes but were disappointed that the bus did not go close to Buckingham palace . We especially likedthe river cruise with its commentary . It was a very busy day with very heavy traffic at times which made progress along the routes.very slow. Overall it was a good way to see the main sites of London but due to the time we had to get off the bus at paddington so could not complete the blue route.

Let me start by saying the Tower of London was brilliant if we had just done that tge experience would have got top marks. But the hop on hop off with Toot was bloody awful and I actually want my money back. The whole point of a tour bus is to learn about the area but their audio mussed so much out and was more interested in telling us pointless stiries about a couple kssing under a bridge, about a guy going to the Imax to see a movue about the artic circle. I couldnt care less about these stories.

As the Tower and Tower Bridge are close together, a morning and afternoon combination of the two sights is a good idea. We had planned 2 hours for the Tower with two children (aged 7 and 10), which was adequate. We spent the whole afternoon at the Tower. Especially in Tower Bridge, the tour through the museum and the engine room is very entertaining for the children with an accompanying activity.

At both places, the staff was very flexible allowing us to enter early. 2 to 3 hours in the Tower is required as there is so much to see. The price was great. We saw the whole of blue line which was 3 1/2 hrs. Great view of the city and short spurts of history thru headphones. Nothing! Driver was not too helpful, "ask the folk outside the bus" as a response. There was no live commentary and the recorded option was rubbish. It was outdated (still referring to the Queen - who has been dead three years), Brexit - which was more than 5 years ago, and gave a list of Prime Ministers missing out the last 4 (at least)! There was very limited historical detail, some of the building references were when they were out of sight. The traffic was awful (not the bus company's fault) but it meant there were extremely long delays between the scant audio commentary which was filled with silence and often inappropriate music - e.g. Park Life - which obliged me to explain 'brewer's droop' to my 8 year old! There were 3 adults and 2 children who each found the experience rubbish and disappointing. We were very jealous of other tours with a live guide / commentary.

The first part of the tower was good I liked it although it was full. The second part ride on the temse was also good only the meeting point was hard to find and badly described. The bus tour was bad no meeting point because triathlon in London. Shortened ride because the end of the day was 18:00. You felt thrown out of the bus. LG Richard

I loved seeing a few areas on the Blue Line. Sadly, with traffic we were told to get off the bus and walk to our points of interest as the bus would be stuck in traffic for 20 minutes. Therefore i had to take the underground to catch the last Thames River Cruise. I did not see anything except streets and traffic. I did not get off at any time due to time constraints. The bus was too hot.

Honestly, nothing. I spent over an hour and a half on the bus and only made it to three stops. It was frustrating, slow, and felt like a total waste of time. The traffic was terrible, and there was no effort made to reroute or communicate what was going on. Even worse, the staff wearing Tootbus gear were completely unhelpful. I asked a few basic questions and got no answers. No guidance, no support, no interest in helping customers have a good experience. I would like a refund. This was by far the worst money I spent during my trip to London, and I regret choosing Tootbus. Please let me know how to proceed.

Sadly the bus broke down after less than an hour on board due to the heat (at Westminster). As our £34.30 tickets included a boat trip we walked to the pier and did the boat ride to Tower pier after which we didn't manage to get on another bus before our tickets said they 'closed' at 5pm despite being 24 hour tickets. A very expensive bus ride from Marble Arch to Westminster

Unfortunately, the TooT-Bus buses were not punctual, we sometimes waited 40 - 60 minutes for the blue route, the display in the app kept increasing. Due to the long waiting time, the bus was very overcrowded. This is of course annoying if you only have 1 day available, as we did. For the price paid, I would have liked a smoother service and the use of several buses. The buses from other providers often passed us by.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Money We were really looking forward to exploring London using the hop-on hop-off bus, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The main reason we chose this service was to minimize walking and comfortably see the city's landmarks. However, we ended up walking much more than expected due to the lack of available buses. We get on a bus in the morning and hopping off after just a few stops, we found ourselves unable to get back on. The long waits and uncertainty completely disrupted our day, and we couldn’t rely on the service at all. Every time we went to a bus stop, we were told there would be at least an hour wait—and in some cases, we were warned that no bus might come at all. Staff directed us to try other stops, but the situation was exactly the same there. This was incredibly frustrating and disorganized. Overall, we feel the experience didn’t live up to what was promised. We wouldn’t recommend it—unless you plan to stay on the bus the entire time and not hop off at all.

The worst experience ever and I will share this with every relevant travel web point. Headout sold me this ticket including hop on-hop off for Monday 5.5.2025. when complete London city center was closed due to VE day parade. Day before the tour, I contaced support of Headout and they promised to resolve until morning. In the morning, nothing happend and after 2 hour on the phone and waiting in the hotel room, Headout informed me that they can't do anything. Complete family was left without options due to Headout policy "we will gladly take your money and afterwards, clients can fuck off. With children in foreign country." You offered voucher on your web page and I will never use your service again so this voucher meqns nothing. Every service provider is better than Headout!

When we bought the tickets it said that the service ran until 8 pm. We took the bus at 5 and the driver mentions to us that the next stop was the last stop, which was also not on the route we took. It totally deviated us from what was on the map. We arrived at the next stop and he told us that we all had to get off because the service was ending, to which we told him that the tickets were until 8 o'clock, and he told us that the last bus had already left 10 minutes ago from the stop we arrived at and there were no more departures. All of us on the bus were left bewildered without being able to use what we bought, a girl with a baby did not understand anything and since there was no public transportation that day, we had to walk. This bus is useless, they do not follow the routes that appear and do not respect the schedules.

The guide wouldn't tell me what route he was going to take. He was very unpleasant. My 9-year-old daughter was even frightened by his verbal aggression and started crying. This driver was of African origin in London, and I felt racist towards him, as I'm a white European. It was the same with one of his African colleagues who took over. Tootbus to be avoided! Very unpleasant staff!

The recorded commentary on the bus could be MUCH MORE INFORMATIVE about the sights along the way. Less music and personal reflections of some romantic event they participated in. There were changes to the route due to protest marchs but no advice on app where to go to pick up the bus again. However The boat trip was 10/10. The staff member who gave the commentary was knowledgeable and funny. Shame they don't employ him on the bus!

The driver was excellent!! She navigated the crazy rush hour traffic fantastically, and was so pleasant throughout! The taped narrative was annoying - far too much self-deprecating humour was totally unnecessary! Remember it's mostly tourists that travel these buses, many with English as a second language, any humour is usually lost. As tourists we want the facts about what we are seeing. It would be much better if there was more specific instruction of where to look, left right, coming up. Also due to traffic much of the recording was off pace. The driver saved it!

It was just unfortunate with the road closures and the diversion down vauxhaul as it took a very long time without any tour info. It was a decent day out and my son was able to have a little nap so that was ok. Would be nice to have more staff interaction on the bus though. Other hop on hop off buses had a guide on the top. The tour route as outlined was very good. The audio was useless - terrible. In the middle of our route a manager came on the bus, ordered us off and told us to get on another bus. Waited for more than 30mins time for the tour Tootbus which was horrible while all other company tour bus kept coming every 10mins or even less. The Tootbus that we've been on for two times didn't have a partial roof then it rained. Couldn't head downstairs due to slippery floor and I was with my nephew that is 3yrs old and my Mother who is 70yrs old. I don't recommend using Tootbus and will never use it again.

I found the audio guide very funny. But we were not informed that the red line was not available every day. At the Tower of London stop, after waiting the bus left without stopping, leaving a number of customers stranded and we had to wait for more than 20 minutes. The frequency of buses on Monday was so low that I opted for the public bus.

Bus ride was fine except for the drop off for Ferry as it was at one end of the bridge while entrance to the Ferry was at the other end and so we had to walk. It would have been better to have the dropoff at the Ferry end itself. Further, timing details of the ferry were not provided and so we wasted quite a bit of time waiting after arriving at the ferry terminal.

Difficult to find a stop. Digital map poor and app glitches a lot. Not many buses so a lot of time wasted waiting for buses and couldn't hop on and off in as many areas due to lack of time. Audio guide also poor and pretty uninformative.

We loved the audio guide in the tour. It was really interesting to listen to, clear and easy to understand. It would have been better if there were more buses available more frequently. Had to wait almost 40 min to get the first bus from Buckingham Palace, whereas we saw buses from other services arriving at the stop more frequently.

The TOOTBUS we were on had issues with the audio guide with the language changing on us every few minutes. Most frustrating to have to constantly change channels looking for the English audio!

It was my first time with this company and I thought it will be reliable with timing . I used before different well established company I had really good experience with them . This time I had guests coming from abroad and it was very embarrassing with them waiting and waiting and end walking and taking normal bus. The waiting time for the buses was too long we end up leave the bus and take normal London buses . Such waste of money !

We liked the ability to get on and off. However, changing from one color route to another was very confusing. When asking for help we did not receive definitive directions. I think it would help to indicate what routes are available at each bus stop if not all colors stop there, especially after the Thames boat ride.

Had to wait for over an hour for a bus to arrive all the other tour bus company's had several buses come and go from our stop when we finally got on a bus the yellow route took 3.5 hrs to go round and we had to change buses part way round we could have seen all the sights visited quicker on foot the tour was a complete waste of money and half a day

The staff were great, a easy way to get around London to see the sights. We were disappointed with Trafalgar Square, as it was fenced off and the traffic to that area was terrible. The city cruise was amazing with the live commentary was fantastic best part of the tour.

I bought the incorrect date at the site by mistake and immediately tried reaching out to the support team, which was a bit, not a person, so it was impossible to obtain feedback. I then sent two emails asking for support, only received a reply days later, and it was a sarcastic one, saying how much unfortunate for me that the ticket date would not be corrected. There are multiple buses each day and it would have made no difference for this company to change my date, especially knowing the only reason for the change was that I literally did not see that there was a date selection at the site, noticed 10 minutes later that I had purchased the wrong date, tried obtaining support and was denied it. It would have made a big difference for me since, as explained via email, my currency is 7x the amount I paid for, so it does make a big difference for me.

The boat trip was by far the best part. Tickets arrived electronically without any issues. The down side was the bus experience! Stuck in traffic for a lot of the time, and the recorded commentary from the man and woman was just dire! They talked endlessly about themselves and so little about what we were actually driving past, including not even mentioning the Cenotaph- unbelievably bad!

The German voice from the headphones was probably a computer voice that wasn't able to pronounce the English terms in English, but spelled them "in German". All the places, streets, names, buildings etc were completely misnamed.

The audio on the bus was not good. The river cruise was great. Near the end of the day the buses did not come as expected and we spent a half hour wondering if we would make it back to the point of origin. It was okay, but not as helpful as we might have liked. I have to say the first driver was helpful when we got off to see Buckingham Palace. Some of the other drivers appeared to want to help but lacked the English to do so. Next time we will choose a company with live tour guides. It was too frustrating not to have someone to answer questions.

I didn't like the experience; firstly the time between the buses was just too lengthy, I hoped off once and it took 50 mins to have the next bus to stop at the bus stop - not the 5-15 mins mentioned in the website. Moreover, the quality of the narrative was subpar, such an amazing city like London and it didn't provide much of the historic perspective the city deserves, I would have been better off taking a regular bus to see the same landmarks.

The audio guide (German) was usually out of sync with where the bus was. I therefore often didn't know which sight the guide was referring to. In addition, explanations were often interrupted in the middle of the text and new explanations were played. We heard some texts several times at different points of the journey. The generated German voice on the green route is difficult to endure, so we switched to English. In the English audio guides, the guide's station numbers do not match the map provided.
