Excellent solution for Topkapi Palace and Basilica Cistern tickets. For the palace, there is an escorted entrance up to the Harem: in our case, everything was handled well, we entered at 9:30 so we did not find too much of a line. The visit to the palace, following the audio guide's description, is very nice. The outside gardens are very impressive. For the Cistern basilica we found a bit of a line to get in (12:30): the visit went well, the light effects in the water and between the columns of the cistern are beautiful. Super recommended activity.

Istanbul is an amazing city. So much to experience you get sensation overload! The Cistern is breathtaking and I wouldn't miss going to experience this. Lineups are quick and efficient so don't let that dissuade you. Haigia Sofia is beautiful however please note the audio tour is confusing. The flow of walking through does not align with how each landmark is noted in audio. I would get the audio ready and simply listen to each station as you approach it.

The skip the line part was good. Starting at the harem was. Good choice. Unfortunately, the Audio guide was horrible. It was difficult to navigate, did not follow a sequence. The place itself was poorly organized. Could not tell where we were or what we were seeing throughout. We walked through harem and then saw the diamond and left. Part of this was palace itself and its lack of signage and partly your audio guide not matching what signs there were.

When we arrived at Basilica there was a really long queue... I'm very impatient so I decided to check if there is a fast track and we bought it. We skipped the line very fast, in 4 minutes we were inside basilica cistern. It was amazing! Beautiful, good audio guide. The most important fact is that a minute after we entered the rain started, so if we were in the line we wouldn't make it, so I really reccomend this fast track.

I went at 5 pm and did not queue; the audio guide worked very well with her recommendations to have a charged phone battery and wired headphones, and was very clear and entertaining. Wonderful visit, highly recommended, the basilica cistern is impressive, and with very well planned lighting that adds drama to the experience.

Nothing. The no queue thing is false, in Hagia Sophia everyone has to queue and during the whole time that the cruisers were there, the queues were more than 500 m long. Bringing two small children was unfeasible. When we were able to access with some speed, we did not have time to visit both and the cistern did not arrive on time.

I really enjoyed the cistern although expensive it was worth it. Hagia Sophia was not worth it...especially seeing it after the Blue Mosque (which is free). The Hagia Sophia is in such a state of disrepair...which doesn't seem it should be since it's so expensive to go in.

Ticket instructions should be more clear to let people know there is a meetup point. We were traveling with older people and once we got to the gate we were told that we needed to go to the meetup point which was all the way back down the hill from where we had just walked from. After looking at the booking again I saw that the instructions for the meetup point were listed under another tab that was not labeled to say there were additional instructions. We then walked all the way down and our mom could not walk back up the hill again to the first meetup point and we had to call a taxi to go back to where we passed to go to the cafe meetup point. Once we got there and got in it was fine but the instructions should be more clear and on the main page once you get your booking confirmation.

BUT 1) there is a lack of precise instructions on how to make the visit to the Hagia Sophia (because in some cases access to the lower part is interdicted but you don't understand it until you leave the visit of the upper part and there it is already late, so you lose all the explanations about the lower part) and the audio guide is reportable for everyone (so you have the feeling that you have been cheated; 2) there is a lack of instructions on how to find the audio guide in the Basilica Cistena (at the entrance, which is not well signaled, there is an almost invisible little man who swipes the Q-RCODE on his cell phone ..... UNACCEPTABLE given the human flood of visitors)

The Basilica Cistern was indeed stunning and enjoyable. Glad we did that one. The audio guide for the cistern seemed a bit spare on information and could have provided more details. The Hagia Sophia experience left a fair bit to be desired. The QR code that was sent was not the entry ticket so we were turned away. To Headout's credit, and after multiple help chats, the issue was resolved, but it took about 2 1/2 hours. After skipping breakfast so that we could beat the worst of the crowds, this made for a poor start to the day. New QR codes were eventually sent, but we could not enter until

The Basilica Cistern is one of the most atmospheric and impressive places to visit in Istanbul. The explanations are not clear: 1. At no point does it indicate that you have to redeem the QR inside a cafeteria. Because of this, we could not go in the first group even though we had been there since 9:15 and had to wait another half hour. 2. It is not indicated to download the guide beforehand. When we did it inside the enclosure, there was hardly any coverage and we had to see the Harem without an audio guide. 3. The app has a very bad user experience, I recommend including the typical X to close the window of each tab to avoid unnecessary recharges from the beginning.

However, we had problems with the tickets for St. Sophia because the meeting point for pickup was closed and we had to ask for qrcodes to be sent to us via whatsapp. They arrived right away but what if someone does not have roaming to connect? We also had problems with the Blue Mosque and Bosphorus Cruise tickets but were not asked to give feedback

"Skip-the-line" is just another line of such fellows like you. Maybe it was mentoined in the ticket information, well put this phrase in a quote then. And yes, it's faster but I expected instant entrance for that price. We spend at least 5 minutes to find the entry point for "skip-the-line" tickets. Bad organisation and no inform tables. The cistern itself was fine though. A lot of columns with different orders and designs. But still overcrowded and noisy. I think it's not worth the price and your time.

Buying the tickets was easy and convenient. Unlike other services, the tickets from Headout were delivered electronically right away rather than requiring me to go pick up tickets at a meeting point. The Headout app on my phone worked great to show the digital tickets and download the audio guide. (Be sure to download the guide before actually entering the Cistern as there is poor Internet below ground.) As for the Basilica Cistern itself, it was absolutely amazing--well worth cost of admission.

The most important thing should be respect for people. Making an offer to improve service times, if that, on the other hand, increases wait times and inconveniences trying to correct a problem that isn't the tourist's responsibility, is already a lack of respect. They should optimize the digital delivery of tickets, and everything would work better. In my case, I spent almost two hours trying to enter Ayasofia. Fortunately, I have to thank someone on their team for sending the correct QR codes.

There was a very long queue on a hot day and these tickets got us into the Cistern in less than 5 minutes. The tour is exceptional. We did not use the audio guide and were just happy to enjoy the experience. The Cistern was cool inside despite the large number of people and the lighting variations made it very interesting. The man working at the front door was very patient and took the time to call and get our issues resolved after a half hour. Topkapi Palace and Harem are amazing. So beautiful. So much to see. We spent the day there. There was not much provision for providing catering. Take some food with you. We were so glad we went. Not to be missed. The entry process is laborious, but you just have to accept that. Getting the ticket in advance did help.

If you go early in the morning, there is no line to buy a ticket or to get in. It is best to be there before 9:00. You get in line, buy and enter. And enjoy the enclosure with little public. At other times it might be worth the extra charge for advance purchase. But I do not recommend it.

I found this combination quite practical. We can access the different sites fairly quickly. It's worth noting that each of these tours is relatively expensive for what they offer. Topkapi Palace is a must-do, but far too expensive for what it offers (note that you have to pick up your ticket before going inside, at a visit checkpoint next to a cafe in front of one of the palace entrances). The queue-cutting cistern is extremely practical, but the visit is not very impressive (allow 30min). The mosque is beautiful, but its history isn't really explained, and it's not at all as impressive as the Blue Mosque opposite, which is free (but more crowded). All in all, I'm glad I did the consisted and saved time, but they're not really worth the detour. For the other two, tickets are available directly from the Apple (Saint Sophie's Mosque + Basilica).

I absolutely loved my visit to the Basilica Cistern in Istanbul. Even though there were some tourists, everything went very smoothly – the whole experience was well organized and stress-free. Walking inside was simply fantastic! What impressed me the most was the thought that this incredible underground structure was built in the 6th century. The engineering work is astonishing – nearly 10k square meters, supported by hundreds of marble columns. Seeing the famous Medusa heads in the corner and knowing they have stood there for centuries added to the sense of awe. It’s hard to believe that such a massive cistern was constructed so many centuries ago to supply water to the Great Palace and nearby buildings. The atmosphere, the cool air, the dim lighting, and the reflection of columns in the shallow water made the whole visit unforgettable.

In 2 out of 3 attractions the queue-jumper was not needed but I understand this may depend on the time/period. Outside Hagia Sofia there is the possibility, via QR code posted on billboards, to download the ticket (not queuing then) and paying €25. Later we can discuss whether it is worth there but that is another issue. I was convinced that what I downloaded was the entrance ticket for Topkapi as well, which is not the case as you have to reach a meeting point and then be taken inside by a guide. The audio guide is not the official one (free with the ticket) but you have to download it and listen by losing smartphone battery. It didn't work well for me and after a while I gave up on it. In basilica cisterna the queue-jumper worked great avoiding me a long queue under the sun. In all, by buying official tickets at the ticket counters, I think I would have saved about €50 or so. The room is magical. I had goose bumps as soon as I saw it. The darkened light makes it look mysterious. The many pillars make the room so incredibly beautiful. The changing green and orange light makes the room breathtaking. When you walk through the room and look at the high ceilings, bearing in mind that it was all filled with water, you can't help but be amazed. An absolute must-see when you are in Istanbul.

There is a line to buy tickets and another one if you already have them. I recommend going early, we didn't have to queue at all. The place is nice, worth a visit. A relaxed and charming atmosphere. Although we were told there were other small ones with free access, we still decided to buy tickets and did not regret it. It is quite dark downstairs, so we bought the tickets to visit during the day.

The monument is spectacular, it is the second time I go to see the Cistern, it is one of the places I repeat when I go to Istanbul. The experience with the purchase without queue, very good, easy access to the monument by a specific row with very little queue. The only drawback is that not being able to download the audio guide to save, if you do not have data, you can not hear it.

The problem with the audio guide was that it was not designed to be user-friendly, could not be played in advance and you had to play it from your own cell phone, which severely affected the battery life of my cell phone, so that after my first exploration tour (in Topkapi Palace) the cell phone only had 7% battery left.

The tickets were fine. However, there was some confusion about where to report / wait regarding the entrance guidance for the Topkapi palace. It would have been a lot easier if it was mentioned that you have to be at the kiosk (with name) with terrace. The audio guide is poor. Often the order is not correct and/or you have no idea where you are and which audio file to listen to. It would be a significant improvement if, by means of GPS reception, you could see your own position on the map and thus know which audio file to play. We stopped using the audio tour. Hello. The queue-cutting ticket is useless: you have to go to the Topkapi café before entering the site and wait for the 50 other visitors with you to be present at the departure of the café, to pass through security, to assemble before entering the Palace ... in short: it's quicker to go through the traditional checkouts ... especially when you're sold an audio guide that doesn't exist! The explanations given by the "guide" are more than brief: his mission is to get you through the doors of the Harem. And that's that. I put 3 stars out of 5 for the formidable beauty of the site. For the rest, you'll have to pass.

Two must-see fascinating places. The Cistern an 'incredibly evolved Roman work for that time and very well maintained. St. Sophia a mosque yes but on the layout of a Christian Church, and you can also see it from the mosaics of the Virgin and Jesus preserved in the right side of the structure. Not to be missed.

Both the Hagia Sophia and the sunken palace were beautiful! It is very worthwhile. And especially for the Hagia Sophia, it's worth buying tickets online in advance to avoid the queue at the ticket office. It's also worth it for the Basilica Cistern, as there are 2 different queues here and the one for the e-tickets was quicker in our case.

We had misread the instructions and entered the palace. We were directed to the ticket office and the clerk told us where to find our guide. Once there, he accompanied us to join a group who were already going through the entrances, so we didn't have to wait 30 minutes for the next departure (very nice of him). The fast pass allowed us to do all 3 activities without a hitch, although you need to allow quite a bit of time for the palace and less for the cistern and Saint Sophia. It was really great

We asked the guide repeatedly for the audio guide starting from the main entrance . He repeatedly told us he will once we get into the Harem . We had to wait for all approx 50 people ..and then ask him for the 3 rd time before he shared the QR code . Instead to skip the line we were the last people to enter .The numbers on guide don't coincide with the ones on the attraction either Would reccomend going to the actual till and get tickets would have been quicker and free audio guide there as well . Disappointed .

It crashed several times. If I tried to check steps of the guide it went to the side of the screen and I could see the half of the the meniu only. It happened suddenly and sometimes got fixed without explanation either. However, it was really annoying and I stopped using it after 5-6 times restarting the tour guide. The good side of the tour was your staff and smooth entry. For that I can give 5 star. He was really clear and informative.

Obtaining the ticket at the meeting point went smoothly and the guide was clear and helpful. He took us to the entrance of the harem and then left us free. he also explained the order in which we should go around. the whole visit and to see all took about 4 hours including taking pictures and listening to the audioguide. couldn't do all the sound clips because at the end the cell phone was almost flat.

The place is breathtaking...you can't imagine what you are about to see and, of course, pictures of the place are not the same as seeing the cistern live and direct. It was not made clear that the audio guide would be on our own phones. I thought we would be the venue provided audio guide. I tried but was not able to download the audio guide on my phone (due to low battery power after sightseeing all day) plus it was too big of a file. Meeting point itself was chaotic and confusing. Staff seemed unwilling nad unable to accommodate and problem solve. They were very indifferent and need to work on their customer service skills. A visit that is worthwhile. Remember that if you do not have your tickets bought in advance, you have to queue twice or divide the group in two and while some buy, others keep the entrance line. Both waits are not tedious. The QR system that are placed at the points of interest, tell you some curious facts and also, in a simple and concise way, the history of Hagia - Sofia. Notice of interest, is that you can save adding extra to your ticket, those QR and the beauty of the place, are enough for your enjoyment. Hagia Sophia, OK, although you suck the same queue as everyone else who has online tickets. Cistern, the best, because the line goes fast. Topkapi, the worst. The place for the appointment is not the most suitable, a narrow and sloping street, with a very small bar where not as many people fit as I expected there. Nowhere at the entrance did it say that you had to exchange the ticket for a piece of paper. The guide could not understand English, and thank goodness I asked because I would have been left without the paper. Of course the queue was huge to get in and you literally got lost from the guide to the access to the harem. The exact hours to enter the Topkapi is a pure fallacy, there are people entering from the beginning to the end of the day.

It's really skip the line tickets. Just show and go. Everything works perfectly. But we didn't find Audio guide in the Basilica. That was sad. And the most sad is that you have an access to the second floor of Haiga Sofia. Not to the first floor as well. To estimate the space of the entire building is only possible with the access to the first floor. But if you're not a Muslim than you have just only second floor. Which is pretty good because of ancient mosaics but doesn't gives you the full picture. If you don't have your own gawn or scarf it will be provided by the property (single used) free.

Basilica Cistern, great, great! We loved it, it is a place you should not miss. Hagia Sophia you have to see it, but I personally was disappointed because I found areas neglected and very dusty; but you have to see it. In both cases the self-guide was very good. In the Topkapi, you have to go to get the tickets at a nearby bar, but the guide that accompanies you is in English only and I did not like that we were many, I could not see the first area and listen to the audio guide, it takes you directly to the harem and you lose the previous. Here I think you should improve.

Setting up the Audio Guide on my personal device was a bit cumbersome as there is no guidance at the entrance on how to do it. Skipping the line to cisterna works flawlessly. Skipping the line to Hagia Sophia (travel time April) is not worth it as the longer line is the entrance line. A warning about the security check and what to bring would have been nice (e.g. cover for hair, long sleeves etc) Audioguide: it is possible to download the audioguide beforehand, however I did not know about that until I was already in at the cisterna and then it was too late, as inside there is no cellphone connection and no internet access. It woul really be helpful to have this information with the WhatsApp info message, which was really nice in general. And then there is the issue with the audioguide for the Hagia Sophia, where on the ticket it says, one is not allowed to use their phone, but then again, how would I listen to the audio guide during the visit? It was fine as no one seemed to care about using a phone, but still this could be a problem.

You can buy tickets at the kiosk cheaper (i.e. 25€ for Hagia Sophia), but you need to wait 20-30 minutes in the queue. With this (Headout) online ticket you can go directly to... other queue for people with tickets. It's going prety fast thou. General experience is OK, but there should be option to download audio guide to your device, because now you need internert connection to use it. You can try to load audio guide when you have internet access, like in a caffee or in a hotel, but probably page will expire and yo need to load it again, so you need internet. Therefor I couldn't use audio guide in Topkapia palace.

The venues are amazing on their own. It was very nice to walk right in to the Basilica Cistern while many folks waited in a long line to obtain entry tickets. The security line for the Hagia Sophia was as long as the line to obtain entry tickets...about a firty minute wait for each. Since we purchased our tickets online, we only had to wait in the security line. Note that we were unaware of the evening hours for the Basilica Cistern. Advertising that may help ease some crowding by giving those who are staying in Istanbul an opportunity to visit when the cruise shop crowds are gone.

In the Cistern the fast access worked perfectly. In Hagia Sophia we had to wait in a long queue for the security check, you can't skip it. In Topkapi everything worked quite well but the group was too big and you could not hear the guide, you would need a microphone. Otherwise, the audio guides are ok but if you don't have internet, you have to download them with wifi, before going to the monuments, you would have to indicate it in the App.
