Pompeii Skip-the-Line Guided Tour with an Archaeologist

Just perfect, the guide very knowledgeable (I can't remember the name) . The two hours spent at the site flew by. If anyone would like to book, do so with the utmost peace of mind and confidence. PS I have a six year old girl and the guide managed to involve her making her spend 2 hours of experience without any problem. Thank you very much keep up the good work. Gregory

good tour overall. we were 17, with audio earer. we learned lots of interesting stuffs about Pompei. but guide was not an archelogist and rushed through the tour, gave the impression to know his text by heart. no room for questions. tour not very personalised (metrics were given in miles and feets, but europeans were part of the tour). We recommend to stay after the tour in Pompei site (possible with the same ticket) to enjoy at a lower pace the venue and to go to spots that are not included in the tour.

Well organized and a very good guided tour of Pompei. Really nice to hear the stories about little things you would normally walk past. We did the tour and then walked around for over 3 hours. A fantastic day!

It was raining during our visit and we couldn't see a lot from umbrellas, rain and queues at places with s a roof. If you are unlucky to go in a rainy day there should be an option to re-schedule or even cancel the visit upon propasal by the guide.

Very good experience. Meeting point easy to find. We visited Pompeii for 2 hours as planned. The guide spoke very good French, dwelt on the important points of the site with precision and humor. Visiting Pompeii without a guide is pointless, as the site is immense and without the expert advice of a guide the visit is like walking without understanding the meaning and history of the site. Our guide Antoinetta had the ability to decipher the stones and the many clues present on the site to help us understand how the inhabitants lived in their time. We were very pleased with her ability to convey her knowledge in a dynamic and entertaining way. We highly recommend Antoinetta.

It was a good experience having some history about Pompeii however it was very long and we had to leave before the end as we had a lift arranged. We did feel a bit rushed at some exhibits and felt like we couldn't spend as much time there as we would have done without a tour guide

We had a lovely English speaking guide that share lots of information and was hilarious. Unfortunately, we do not remember his name! Exceptional guided tour.

La guía era muy buena! Y pompeya es una maravilla, recomiendo esta experiencia. Quizás podría ser más larga. Se me hizo corto.

Visita muy amena y entretenida, el guía nos enseñó lo más importante de Pompeya, no me quedó muy claro que fuera arqueólogo, pero lo recomiendo.

Facilité pour trouver l'accès et le guide. Durée de visite de 1h30 et non deux heures ce qui est dommage car la visite était très bien sinon

A pesar de llegar media hora antes al sitio del inicio de la visita. No nos colocamos bien y perdimos la visita. Despues de llamar a la oficina y encontrar el mostrador. Matias, muy agradable nos reubicó en otra visita. Luego con Anarita, MUY BIEN!!

The guide (Alina....if I remember right) was very good. Shared fun facts and was full of information. She was very friendly. The guided tour covered the main points but it would have been very nice to have had an audio guide after the guided tour. in this way we could prolonge the visit with more details and more houses and corners to understand. It is a huge place to visit and walking around alone having more time for observing details would be perfect with an audio guide with explanations.

Toda la ciudad es fantástica y con la guía que nos ha dado las explicaciones de forma clara y amena en muy buen castellano. Esperábamos ver sólo ruinas y hemos visto una ciudad 👍

Die Archäologin war super, sie hat uns kurzweilig und informativ durch die Anlage geführt. Der Start war etwas holprig - der Veranstalter "Aksos" sollte sich auffälliger präsentieren, die Mitarbeiter gehen in dem Menschengewirr rund um den Eingang Porto Marina unter und die Mitarbeiter von Pompei wollen einen bewusst in die falsche Warteschlange stecken.

The entire process for checking in was simple as long as you follow GPS to the cafe. We parked in a paid parking lot which made it much easier. The tour was very educational but entertaining at the same time. I wouldn't go to Pompeii without a tour, it would be way too confusing. This was a great tour all together!

Meeting up withe the agent went well despite torrential rain. The group was not too large. The archeologist was excellent. He was knowledgeable and his presentation was excellent. He answered questions very succinctly and managed the group dynamics well.

Entire content of a tour, very good organization. Great tour guide, ready to answer additional questions with great level of knoweladge.
