Francesa was vey knowledgable and made the experience so interesting. Despite the torrential rain, we had an amazing time, understanding the history of Pompeii. I would highly recommend the private tour.

Fantastic tour with Vincenzo and the highlight of our time in Pompeii.
He took us to less crowded parts of the city and his descriptions really brought the areas we visited to life.
As an archaeologist he had knowledge of facts that other tour guides would not know and also had a sense of humour.
The 2 hour tour went by in a flash and we were really disappointed when the tour ended, although he did give us a few tips for our self guided continuing tour of some of the areas we did not have the time to see with him.
Overall an extremely interesting tour, not rushed and well worth the cost.
